Rakesh Paswaan wants to build a simple story of a girl who becomes an officer after a lot of hard-work. He wants to show how the girl juggles the roles of herself as the daughter, someone's sister, as in the future someone's wife and someone's in future daughter-in-law along with responsible position of an officer.

Mr. Paswaan forgets that for the viewers, this juggling is no BIG DEAL at all. We have seen our parents and ourselves handle the two roles very well. Why is he stuck up with this theme then ?

Rakesh Paswaan wanted all the show's challenges for Krishna to be resulting out of the machiavellian mind of Bihari Raj and his wife and daughter.

However, he forgets that one person cannot become a God to run the life of another mortal and especially if that mortal happens to be a SUCCESSFUL Govt. Officer. He or she will have some intelligence to cut through all the nonsensical crap!

Viewers want:

a) An inspiring story about an honest officer and how she is fighting or cleaning up bad elements within the society. This has never been Mr.Paswaan's idea in his concept. But if viewers like it that way, can he not change his mind a little bit ?

b) The sorry events and challenges to be result of elements matching the stature of the Officer and not to be created by ordinary man like Bihari Raj who is just an uncle to the protagonist. Can Mr Paswaan tell us how Bihari can have the credibilty and qualification to influence a Deputy Collector ????

Known/Unseen Challenges in the form of his Character and Actors Popularity

Kinshuk Mahajan -Pinto Singh

Extremely Popular. Half of the audience (out of India Forum) may see AB because of him. It forces the story writers to script something to make it a daily presence.

So something is scripted daily that makes viewers happy but at the same time build up Viewer expectation for which Mr. Paswaan was never prepared.

What is Pinto's occupation ? How long he wants to test the tensile strength of Pinto Singh-Kinshuk Mahajan personality to get away with this BIG HOLE ?? If he does not want Pinto to take up any work, then why show us taunts from people on Pinto being nothing and his false efforts.

Viewers already know that with or without AB writer's blessing, Pinto Singh's character is perceived to be successful and he can find employment for himself soon enough if AB team allows him to have a job!!!

Shahbaaz Singh - Tuntun Singh

His Comic Relief and stalwart screen presence is so absorbing that people want to see him even if his character Tuntun Singh is disgusting. Mr.Paswaan is now unable to handle this and his team cannot even script good scenes for him. The Comic relief that he used to present in the form of effrontery and cutting dialogues have now become farcical and forced. Soon the Tuntun Singh character will be butchered when script writers go out of steam thinking of what to write.

Neeraj Sood - Bihari Raj

He is an excellent actor. His dialogues are outright funny. However restricting him to be a villain

has seriously nipped all the acting capabilities of Neeraj Sood. None of the viewers want to see his villainous antics. Viewers are demanding him and his family to be shown in different light with a different purpose other than just ogling at Vidyapati house, targeting Krishna Raj and gossiping with neighbours and gassing Tuntun's ego and anger.

The CVs need to read this now before it is too late. I agree that perhaps Krishna's journey as a BDO was not the initial goal of the show once she became one, but like you said, the producers and channels and even actors for that matter constantly parrot the same idea that they are slave to the audience and that scripts change all the time based on what the audience wants. But why is that not the case here?

Whatever his initial goal was, it was Krishna's BDO journey that touched the hearts of the audiences and it certainly wouldn't hurt to tweak the direction of the show to focus more on this. When I read this I can only remember that prophetic critique from telly tadka about the show and how they have done exactly what they shouldn't have.

Zee TV's show Afsar Bitiya: It is a story of a girl Krishna who makes a mark in her life and becomes someone to reckon in the society only through sheer hard work and dedication towards studies.

Good Points: The show focusses on the positive aspect of education in a rural place and gives out a positive message that one can become an officer with sheer hard work and dedication. Lead actress playing Krishna's role is very strong in her acting and she is given equally strong support by the male lead Kinshuk playing Pintu Singh's role. Supporting characters are equally strong which results in good drama. Show has been successful in putting the right focus on how a girl in a rural area has to face all the difficulties to complete her successful education and become an officer.

Weak Points: Sometimes overdose of drama and violence shown can be a put off for the viewers who might be looking for some light entertainment. Show has already completed its main story of Krishna becoming an officer and so now it might be a bit tough going in terms of story progress for future. Love track of Krishna and Pintu will be the next big high point but since the show is focussing mainly on Krishna's journey to become an officer, a love track needs to be handled very carefully or things might slight down.

Points which can work better for the show: Krishna's journey after becoming a officer should be the main focus of the show and the love story between Pintu and Krishna should be a part of this journey. Melodramatic or violent dialogues especially in Pintu's family can be toned down a bit. Editing and Direction can be better as sometimes the episodes lack a proper flow or continuation.

And I just cannot fathom why Pintu cannot have a job yet. He can get one and they can show him doing it sporadically with the same scenes of him supporting Krishna. Viewers will be more peaceful knowing the job is at least there, the same way I felt good when we at least saw Krishna going to work and coming back, implying that she had some uninterrupted work days.

Pinto should still do thekedari. The moneylender who was given a piece of her mind by Krishna should come back to Pinto and tell him that he will put in money for whichever business he wants to do.
