downfall of a channel

i got a news 😭 .......pepole in some channels are rooted by the rivalary channel to destroy that channel 😭 ....and they are geeting salery from both the channels 😡 😡 . i dont know who is anupama mandloi 😡 😡 do you know? BEWARE FRIENDS

ooo...my area of specialization. anupama mandoloi is a vp with star plus...she joined i guess last year. earlier she was with sony for ages...quit sony and join somewhere else before joining star. given sony's current halat i dont think those folks had time to plan and send a mole to star plus.
the reason for star plus' downfall is that earlier they were innovators now they are followers. the reason they were innovators were ppl like samir nair, shailaja kejriwal who have since moved on to ndtv imagine and not surprisingly now all channels are following example set by ndtv ie have mythos as daily prime time shows.
btw along with anupama another guy vivek bahl also joined star...he's from zee and zee is star's closest rival. now would they....?

I totally agree with the statement in bold - they led the way for so long and now they are just lost. Star banked on Balaji - but Balaji have also crossed camps to other channels like 9X - and channels like NDTV & 9X havedefinitely taken the lead in this race. Now the clear connection between Stars downfall & the rise of NDTV are the names you mention!

And as for Anupama Mandloi, it does raise a new question - she came to Star following the departure of Samir Nair & Shailaja Kejriwal. I would have thought that would make her very inclined to make a name for herself? Actually I am interested in seeing what happens with Star's Mahabharat and how that is marketed, considering it goes head to head with both Balaji & 9X. This, I feel, will be where we find out what Ms Mandloi is made of...

👏 wah BBC.....so star plus doesnt even know its being deceived.well if they will act so stupid, then no chance of them surviving in this harsh world...thanks ksh.......😉

Wow thats sad...if someone is doin this to the channel....but I dont agree NDTV imagine set the mytho trend. Its starPlus who started the "mythological-supernatural-historical" league with PRC, Sai baba, lucky,hatim.
And still After the entry of Vivek and Anupama the channel launched Humari Devrani , Bidai ,Kis Desh... which made the channel once again No 1(last week 52 out of top 100 shows wer from star and 3 from NDTV). So no wories I am sure the channel heads will not do any harm to it and surely if we force them they will bring back Chabhi. 😛

PRC, Sai baba, lucky,hatim were all started during samir nair time. this was copied by zee when they launched nagin and alladin. coming to bidaai and devrani they copy zee's style of soaps...small town female protagonist which some unique problem/asset. kis des mein is again the usual balaji formula love story with a cute hero something like kzk(launched during samir nair's time). and PRC, Sai baba, lucky,hatim were all weeklies...now ndtv imagine has ramayan as a daily. their idea is copied by 9x(vaishno devi, mahabharat), sahara one(vaisho devi).
so basically current shows of star are all modelled upon their own successful shows or those launched by some other channel. nothing innovative as in when star launched kbc or kyunki or prc+bbb weekend slot. they are managing to stay afloat as star's older shows have a loyal viewership who sample the new ones.
but i agree...we can force them to get chabhi back...afterall they kept rajat as prc for a long time due to viewers demands.
