Indeed ...but the show was definitely run by our very own four vellas 😊..they had more scenes than any one else...yippie One more reason why this show is unique: supporting cast has more role than lead cast!!!

Very Intresting points!!!..however my feelings are its not as simple as it all sounds...think people in India are preferring saas bahu dramas..period!!!..other than that i dont believe even any great show can produce an A1 episode every episode...i think the actors are helpless including Varun etc...on top of that i dont feel its that simple to barge in to promote oneself or ones own show..and everyone has a bit off ego..you dont want to throw yourself at people..my feelings are this is exactly what is happening in this case.
I know the makers and team of the show are mantaining their dignity by simply taking a backseat and waiting!!!
However As viewers....we are infact in a better position to do something. we will just have to keep pestering them....because we have a right to do that...i have heard that star plus does hear and pay heed to what viewers feel..so there you go..thats just what we have to do!!!!!

i dont believe that everyone in india prefers saas bahu dramas. ppl are bored of it and want a change. if this were not the case then bbb wouldnt have had decent trps. ndtv imagine doesnt have a single saas bahu show and its doing quiet well. even star one had successful shows like remix, dmg which are targetted at the youth.
if chabhi guys think that ppl prefer saas bahu dramas and give up then they are taking a defeatist approach. and there is nothing wrong in promoting one self. thats how the industry works. the only person who promotes chabhi is varun. other than him we never see anyone else talking abt the show. but i agree one should not overhype anything otherwise one could lose face like srk and star did over PP.
as for producing A1 episodes...i agree again..one cannot produce a1 episodes every week. but not producing one for months?
but i agree...viewers response can make a difference...and we can help with that. but after that as nisha said the makers better buck up.

No-one's helpless..everyone has a choice. The media industry runs on popularity - you have to be popular to succeed, and to be popular people have to know who you are!

Isn't that exactly our complaint with Star Plus - that they did not promote Chabi? So why should it be any different for the production house or the actors - why can they not do something to help themselves? Action can be taken without the loss of dignity...sitting silent in the dark will not help raise awareness.

If Varun can scream "to date we have not had a single hoarding" why can't the rest of the cast promote the show too?

NDTV is doing very well as it appeals to a market that has been ignored for so long. Star as a rule has saas-bahu dramas on constantly. If the only channel you get is Star, you have very little choice but to watch these dramas..and the fact that their popularity comes from a lack of choice means that it wont last as these new channels take a grip.

Rightly said Nisha and Shreya...it's an era of advertizing yaar...in Chabi's terms all appu jhaapu shows advertize themselves as much as possible then why can't a good show like chabi do it? and truly said that dignity is not in sitting back and watching your show being shelved off but in fighting for the right thing(just like kekta's protagonists :) )...

And today anything and everything is a hit with good promotion then if you are in show biz and not promote yourself..i think it will not be called a mistake but foolishness...

Reasons I beleive for the break or failure.. (i.e. for Low TRPs)

- Of course, lack of promotion, dead slot are the main reasons everyone knows that. forget about promotions, the viewers were simply left to investigate the timings of the show by themselves, if u r lucky.. or keen enough - u catch it. or forget it. A revolting way to handle things in TV industry!!!

- BUT! - that is not the only reason. Definitly. Although I do beleive the recent episodes were more decent the k-soaps around, there is no doubt they were NOT good.

There were so many opportunities specially after confession to make the show gripping for viewers, even new ones and increase TRPs.

Not only did they lost them, but they made the show superboring for even it's regular viewers.

- S-U story airtime - is a sort of thing that got most of us hooked to the show. That is how you get new viewers! It is as simple as that. They absolutly did not bother doing that - actually the way it was going - it almost looked like they are puposefully avoid showing sandeep-Urmi scenes. 😕

There was NO need to hurry there main story. but they are not telling us - they cannot show sandeep urmi scenes or even episodes without taking the story further. (kindeystones, Urmi's birthday are great examples) That was the magic of chabi. It was nowhere to be seen.

- Poor direction/editing and whatever.. - for example - They ruined the confession. They nearly did to be more fair. Varun's acting pulled it up and made it as exceptional as it was...
The camera angles, editing was nothing but Horrible! 😕 - specially when u shoot something that important.

- Poor dialogues, story etc - They suddenly went so boring in recent episodes (except 30th may) and not just boring - Whoever was writing the script or directing I donnoo.. seemed to have been briefed on Sandeep-Urmi story and and all characters in an hour or so - and asked to make the show! He seemed to be only vaguely aware of who these ppl are..

Very dissapointing. specially when this precisely was the magic of chabhi. and the few episodes like this totally turned the viewers off.

Sonia, I know people in india prefer 'daily's but not all of them. People do want change - and you got to hook them to it. With a combination of promotions and a good real 'chabi-ish' episodes can definitly get them a decent TRPs!

So yes, I blame star - for all the unfair treatment they have given chabhi. But I do beleive the recent epoisodes were disapointment, and chabhi makers (even with our warnings) didn't do much to improve the situations.

I might not know how all the things work in there - but fortunatly, can see by common sense - That if the episodes were putting us off, and actually driving us not to watch the episodes, why would regular viewers and even more, new viewers want to watch it? 😕

It is as simple as that. I, like most people here was still watching the show, only to come on this forum. Nearly everyone here had confessed that lately.

Still, I am trying my best to get Aek chabhi back, because (as ksh said) I beleive they can do better. They have the potential!

And hope they will wake up, atleast now.

Whoa! That was a long speech ACHPM makers sure would have woken up after this one.

after this break if they still havent woken up then god help them.

I waz just thinkin abt possible ways to promote ACHPM... we could send an email to Saas Bahu aur Saazish to tell them to show Urmi (Suhasi Garodia) and Sandeep (varun) interview or even the whole cast if possible. I m sure star news will ask them about hw they feel about ACHPM not being on air and possible reasons for it.

What do u guys think abt it? I m definetly ganna start writing the email nw.

Go ahead...lets do whatever we can....only our perseverence will help!
