Hi Friends,

How are you all ? Things have been a bit tight at my end both at work and personal front 😳. However India Forums have always been a growing community and its probably the few indian sites which runs on 7 Servers and we are still adding more 😃.

And the latest addition to our cluster of server is the all new:

- Supermicro SC813MTQ-520 1U chassis - 4x hot-swap drive bays
- Supermicro X7DVL-I Dual Xeon 5000/5100/5300 Series Serverboard
- 12288 MB Fully Buffered DDR2 RAM
- 2 X Intel Clovertown 5335 Quad Core Processors
- 4x Seagate Cheetah 15.5k / 16MB cache SAS HD on RAID10
- Adaptec RAID 3405 4 port SAS controller

Coming this SUNDAY we are going to be moving the India Forums database which is now around 20GB of text data and due to which the site may be down for around 2-3 hours.

We will keep you all informed about the same and we are quite hopeful that it will make the site even better. And will give us more flexibility in adding more features and functionality to the site.

And on the top of the list is the "Site Search"

i really hope i can watch it today..because its 2 episodes behind here and i always prefer to watch on the internet so i can discuss in the forum..anyway thanks for the info..at least we know before
