DC wants to design Akshat and Meenu's love story?

Hi there,
Its my first post here and i don't want to give any wrong impression. Look, i really like DC and his smooth operator streak and complete control over his emotions is COMMENDABLE. I understand that these 12 contestants and this show are pure business for him - he doesn't want to see them as human beings because if he starts feeling for them, his show business that thrives on sale of emotions and dreams will nosedive...
But... when i saw the new promo, for the first time, i thought... should DC really do that? Take it to that extent? I mean, yes, Meenu and Akshat have spark and Meenu sort of likes-dislikes him and Akshat is not as bad as he comes across with his attitude. But here, things are not going to take their own course - DC - the sharp eyes and nose that he has - he has caught a saleable love story between Akshat and Meenu which is not for the sake of Akshat and Meenu - its for the sake of business.
Knowing DC, maybe , just maybe he will be able to turn the spark between the fierce Akshat and subtle Meenu into a super love story ... but Akshat and Meenu are real people with real emotions, right? What will they feel tomorrow if their real emotions are overshadowed by DC's design. How real will be their feelings if its DC who is the corporte cupid here?
I am not judging DC because i understand that he is what he is - he is a dream merchant and this is his business. Its just that Akshat and Meenu - in their own individual ways are highly emotional people. I do like them together but tomorrow, i don't want them to doubt their feelings or feel cheated if at all they ever find out that DC was the creator of their love story.
Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗

Poco, great to see a post of yours here.

Honestly for me what bothered was what he had done by having Bobby show the contestants the hug after telling them that Meenakshi was the chosen winner.

I haven't seen the promo myself, but what what DC's doing is no different than what so many reality shows actually do. So it doesn't bother me as much. No way am I saying what he's doing is okay. But it's what happens.

Good point raised... I have not seen the promo yet so cannot understand and comment on that part...
But if a love story is created by Producer of a reality show (Here it is DC), I think it is more close to reality. I remember in Indian Idol they have done some thing similar with Chang and another girl...
Rekha was also mentioning it in some other post... Need to dig more details but this act of DC is close to reality of today's reality shows if he is doing it.
Now comes the debate over is it good or bad... If we see from DC's point of view it is right because he thinks it gets him TRPs...
Unless we see how it unfolds, we may not be sure of what is happening. Love story is going to happen in real between Akshat and Meenu or DC is going to capture some moments and project it as love story... The way the hug scene is misplaced and shown to the other contestants...
With every act, DC is looking more human and real and close to the TV world :)

yes, it's not being right on DC part but it is real from what I have see on many many reality shows - all emotions are manufactured for audience.

PinkChoklate makes good point about whether it will be genuine love id DC involvement is there.. that we will find out ourself in some time. True that if Akshat/meenakshi find out they both be hurt but DC care only for TRP not heart break.

Hey Poco, always a pleasure reading your post 😊
I totally understand what you mean and are getting at... if Akshat-Meenu happen, and develop into more, there could come a time when they find out the truth, and whether they will question themselves on what they feel is it genuine or was it engineered and manipulated, negative traits are always so easily looked upon by your ownself they sometimes take over what you really feel or felt before in those moment when you felt them... and this could be the battle that Akshat-Meenu face if they ever find out DC did this, somewhat designed them... DC is playing with them and their feelings, thats a fact... (even though we see and get his pov through his place as the man behind this show) and it will become more apparent to him and A/M when they find out... because i can see that dialogue coming in play...
I am one of those ppl actually do want to see Akshat-Meenu first to dance together and in a love story... these two are so different as in people, and the personalities they have... sparks will fly coz of that, and the dancing i feel since they both are so into their dancing, and different way they dance, the way they view dance - i do feel somewhat they will sync with each other through that, if not hopefully that is the main goal of them dancing together and creating an syncing of dancing and a couple... and with their personalities

Hi Poco , Nice to see you here, did'nt know you followed this show

According to me emotions hold a lot on humans, we all are the ones who always tend to lean a lot towards that, DC at present is a the creator of this world , he makes the twists and turns, and more so when Meenakshi entered the academy he told her that many things as she walks towards her path of getting to be the next dancing super stars,
He would place different perks in her travel, and if at present Akshat is the one , he may be emotionally inclined towards her as he might get over his guilt trip, But there should also be an understanding that somewhere the others in this world he (DC) has created may try to surpass them ( Akshat and Meenakshi) like his own brother and Karishma well now Anagd is always doing the best for his brother, if his brother and Meenu will their dance or chemistry build up or whatever or they fall in love..

According to me DC will fabricate a layout, But its left to the individual what they are rooting to, its a known fact emotional attachment could somewhere take away some thing from you which you wish to thrive for at some stage, So if this is for real or for a story its finally the individuals who have to see the path...

Being hurt again is all an emotional package which the individual will have to see

and what ApoorvaFan said
Unless we see how it unfolds, we may not be sure of what is happening. Love story is going to happen in real between Akshat and Meenu or DC is going to capture some moments and project it as love story... The way the hug scene is misplaced and shown to the other contestants...

I do agree with it as more and more the show becomes interesting would see what DC will portray after all so many shows make such dimensions for the reality TV market so what gets projected what is emotional side and what the creator gives is what we can see only when perks make their way

All this is my POV 😊

I think Meenaxi and Akshat are there in Aasman se Aage with one purpose to fulfill their dreams of becoming a dancing star, it will be better for them to focus on their target than get emotionally involved, DC is doing a pairing for the audience as this is not some average dance competition where the best dancers wins, there are many factors to be taken into account for the audience to like the show more like an emotional love story which is fake but a must for a reality show to be more watchable in terms of trps which Dc wants . Better learn rules of the game like DC or Karishma . That's the hard facts of reality and this the price which the dancers will pay in their quest for fame😊

When I saw the promo, I saw dance chemistry a must if it is a love song they are performing, others might see something else.😉. Now if Aklshat and Meenaxi fall in love during their journey it is their problem to work out whether their emotions are real or fake, I will not blame DC for it as if it is real then they need to be thankful to Dc for being the catalyst in their love story, if not then they move thier separate ways as after all this is dance based fictional reality show not a love story.😊
Aasman se Aage is neither a dating paradise or a friendship club.😊

it may sound strange or even seem very weird but that is a fact-most reality shows in fact bank on such "love stories"-someone sees a spark and they ad fuel to the story by creating situations that ignite such a fire...
DC reminds me of a puppeteer who is busy playing with his puppets all the time...i found the promo a big weird but when i thought over it i realized so many reality shows actually do this,so many shows have had 'romantic angles" contestants coochie cooing each other publicly and then forgetting it once they are out!-but what remains to be seen if the love really happens and what the repercussions of it will be

I wonder. Will this couple be real, or will they remain mostly a manufactured couple within the reality show? Naturally becoming more understanding and getting closer is one thing. But the question is whether it will really become one, as DC himself said.

I think this aspect and twist is quite interesting. (I also think it would be even more interesting the writers go the path of how it is in many a reality shows. We see "love blossoming" but in reality it is mostly twisted, manipulated and manufactured. And once the show's over, either whatever was really there fizzles out, or it becomes clear to all that it never really was such a thing.
