Journey Begins- Part 2 added

What an episode! Fingers crossed that ratings rise as the chemistry between RDX and KN continues to grow!

So, I think this episode showcased the beginning of multiple journies. Mahisha begins to go from being Queen Siyala's loyal servant to a human being with ambitions and desires of his own- primary being to rule and have Devsena! His jealously gave rise to multiple fires tonight! How apt that Jaldev is now in the palace- the better to put all fires out!

It is also the beginning of Devsena's journey- from daughter, sister, princess, from being Hahuma's puppet to being her own person and her Jaldev's atmasangani. I was kinda disappointed that she shot Jaldev but not surprised- DS has always been taught to heed Hahuma's word and she needed to see that she (DS) was wrong and that Hahuma was wrong. This means this is the beginning of DS moving away from the path Hahuma has set for her and forging her own. She won't be so eager to listen to Hahuma again when she knows Hahuma advise was wrong and that she hurt a (well she thinks...) innocent man. And the sooner she moves away from Hahuma and her bad advise the better! Let the character development begin in earnest!!

Jaldev is also changing- his goal is before him but he is already struggling to focus on it- he even inadvertently confessed that he was mesmerized by DevSena's beauty to Guruji! Talk about not paying attention to what you are saying! And Jaldev is also aptly named! Cool water to Devsenas fire. Complementing and preventing each other from getting out of control!

Also flashbacks have begun- both are feeling the soul connection and moving past the physical attraction- as evidenced by JalDev's expressions during the dance and DS's trembling hands- she has to close her eyes in order to shoot!

Also Mekhla is def going dark- and I don't think it looks like love love is in the cards for her and Jal. Her expesssions after she saw it was the gardener makes me want to tell JD to run- this woman will not take no for an answer! And good job little sis trying to get big sis to trip to stop dance! She feels more like Padma's daughter not Sambhas.

Edit: also I loved the look on DS's face when she walked towards JD and picked him as her partner. She looked totally dazed- as if 200 year old DS had hijaked her body and steered her towards her lover.

Beautiful post. Yes, the episode was very nice. I especially liked your last lines..Devasena really looked as if walking in a daze..both Devasena and Jal..dancing to there own tune..a tune that only their heart plays

Anandam, anandam, anandam..

Today was a complete package of action, drama, trill and dance. Hero, heroin and many villains. Indian cinema in a nutshell.

The story progression is at a steady pace, several layers of several players unravelling. I am entirely engrossed with the story telling.

D and S created magic again. The uncertainty yet the strong bond is clearly depicted

First off thank you everyone for your meaningful replies! Without further ado here is part 2!

Some hilarious moments - hahuma a DNA / destiny children detector...Gardner's gibberish talk about the back being nice and getting trashed during his parasomnia - sleepwalking/talking episode. Indramitra witnessing only the romantic scenes and part of the scene before V can show his allegiance to Clan A, via video tele-link...hahaha, the shuddering arya pillar and many more...

What stands out is D humanity and humility when she realised she was wrong about J and treating him to recovery. J's changing views about D and his reevaluating his arya values - especially about his mission of killing D to uphold Clan A, when he realises D saved him. However his training got him back to his mission and guru mantra of joining the enemies enemy to accomplish his mission supersedes his value based assessment. He joined hands with Mahishi not realising that Mahishi has a change in stance about wanting to own the proud D, rather than kill D - male ego in Clan D, not heard of. ( I believe I read that he is one of the twin, actually by birth belonging to Clan A, hence the core male characteristics). The trip will be interesting on many levels. The story is intertwined in so many complicated ways!!!

The selection process for the warriors to accompany D was interesting. Again D was a considerate princess, but shrewd at the same time. She was aware of the cover up by J with regard Mahishi's involvement with the kidnapping of her father, yet she valued Js valour and was willing to somehow believe that he is on her side; forecasted by J when he pledges the safety of D, despite being programmed to kill D by hook or crook. I am not sure of what to make of the bromance between J and Mahishi..

And not to forget mentioning both D and Js deductive process to arrive at the fact that the fire element was Mahishi.

Mhelka seemed humble and apologised for misunderstanding D, she sounded genuine here. She sincerely wanted to see J back after his venture into the jungle with her Di and Mahishi.

Finally the cavemans hyper acoustic hearing of the war preparations by Clan A is worth mentioning and him alerting the scheming stepmother, who does not want to loose her queenship, to prepare for destruction of - I am not sure who in 40 days..I am intrigued by the story progression.

Waiting with baited breath for next weekend.. and many discussions before that..
