So, a problem exists for Adit. In a fit of rage, he challenged the hoodlum. But he didn't realise that in the audience sat his little son. A son who was out of his wits with fear. A son frightened for his life and safety. Oh so sad………. (Adit ….never speak harshly in front of kids - what security are you giving them?)
Adit gets up and goes to explain the situation to Abhi. But Abhi is in no mood to forgive. The scared little thing pulls away from his dad. But Adit gives him a hug anyway. Little children are so innocent! He hugs Adit back. Awwww so sweet. Adit asks for forgiveness and promises he won't talk like that again. Vidya too joins in and says that Papa did mean it like that. But my little superhero needs more convincing. Vidya gives him an analogy of his classroom and the way the teacher handles the bullies. He understands but is very insecure. He reluctantly agrees to go with Adit after school.
Mrs G is yelling at the cleaner to work properly on her car. Vidya comes with the children. Mrs G starts boasting about her car and its luxuries. Vidya offers to take Billo, but Mrs G says there's no AC in the rick. (Boy..Mrs G has sure gone up on the social ladder). She says it wont be soon before the Vermas will have a car. Abhi starts fuming. As it is he is in no mood. He tells Mrs G off. "We don't wanna go in your fancy car" (A+++ for spunk Abhi!!!) Vidya hails a rick and leaves with children. Mrs G shrugs her shoulders and says "Kya zamana aa gaya" And adds that some people can't stomach the bitter truth. (Grrrrrrr…….)
In the auto, Vidya gets a call that the appointment with the doctor is at 11 in the morning. So she drops Abhi to school, takes a casual leave and races to the doctor's only to realise that the appointment has been cancelled because she's 10 mins late. (Oh really!!!) Anyway since she's out of turn now, she is in for a long long wait. And that receptionist is the most odious person you could have laid eyes on. (Methinks she and Mrs G are from the same family of creeps) On the other side, poor Abhi is tired roaming door to door. He just squats on the road and refuses to go on. (A typical way of protesting done by children) Poor Abhi!! Poor Adit!! Adit offers to carry Abhi but the brave little boy says he'll walk.
Vidya is waiting and waiting at the clinic. She waits for six hours and yet no call for her. She has to miss her music class. The annoying secretary is so rude…… she tells her if she can't wait she can come for another appointment after a month. No refund either, so the fees of Rs 800 is gone as well. Shucks!!
Abhi is tired so they decide to sit on a bench. A businessman who is talking on the phone is sitting on a spare bench. Abhi is thirsty and hungry. So Adit goes to get some food but tells Abhi to look after himself and the bag. The man on the phone is harried. He says he has sold his house in the village to raise the money which he will return. Suddenly he gets up and says he'll be there right away. He hails an auto and departs. But he's left a bag behind. Abhi calls out to him and tells him about the bag. But the man's gone. Adit returns and learns from Abhi what has happened. He picks up the bag. But it's not yours say Abhi. Adit explains that they have to return the bag so he has to get the address. He opens the bag.
There are wads and wads of notes in the briefcase. Abhi and Adit are both shocked. So much money!!! Abhi urges his father to return the money. Adit is distracted, he shushes Abhi. How does he return the briefcase without an address. Abhi says the address card mayb under the notes. But Adit closes the bag.
Advice: Better return the money Adit. Nothing good comes from ill-gotten money.
Precap: It's late and Antara and Vidya are returning home. Vidya breaks her chappals. They sit on some steps. Angel removes her shoe and offers it to Vidya. Vidya is touched and kisses her. She says Angel is so understanding and wishes that she be blessed with happiness all her life.
