In yesterdays episode, Sahil only asks people to not try to stop him from being in love with Vedika. He does not expect her to be with him forever, he says even yesterday that he does not know when she will leave him or stop talking to him.
Sahil is truly in a zone where he is clinging to this belief that Vedika loves him at some level. And for him it is enough that he is close to her... screams of one sided love, with Vedika not ready to accept his love. Yes, Sahil has always been with Vedika and the little time he was not with her she was not herself. No matter what their relationship is she would not be able to handle a separation from him either... but to get to that point she need to first push him away. But with his threat and her biggest fear of him dying, Vedika is check mated. She cant push him away.
I am not sure if Vedika after the Gautam fiasco and all the things going on in her life is going to look for a marriage prospect. That would be downright stupid. I do not think she is even thinking about marriage at this point. BA needs to set the stage for Vedika's marriage, Ved in need of job and BA has the power to give her a job, and likely get the boss or colleague to propose to her. After what Sahil just spoke to her, I wonder if she would even dare accept a proposal from anyone.
She has always had this crazy fear of loosing Sahil. When it hits her she back tracks, no matter what. All this while its been in her own subconscious mind... but Sahil has now voiced it out to her... she wont dare him this time.
