Even the distance between Sahil and Vedika cannot stop them from caring for one another, protecting them. And also feeling restlessness.
Sahil felt it... that something is up even god is given him signs (his phone, the photo, bhagwan murti)... his soul is restless.
As Vedika recalls Sahil's words back in time when Arya was kidnapped, she gets strength from it. And we can see how these two build each other up and give strength to.

God is with them!! we see how Vedika sees the Ganesh murti near her in her prison cell, and its like a message is sent via god to Sahil via his phone dropping on the floor, as Vedika's photo appears on his lockscreen and near a Ganesh murti at the hospital. The wind, and calling to Sahil to him trying to contact Vedika on the phone. Signals and Signs! Restlessness
As for Vedika, i said in the other thread... Vedika is trying to protect Sahil, hence even though she promise to call him if she ever needs him or is in trouble, it's her need to protect him that prevents her. She is always a thinker, even right now she is in deep trouble she is thinking of others - Sahil and her mother and daughter.
I liked the Vedika and Karan scene, it got Karan to see on his own that Vedika is exactly what Sahil has said about her... that goodness in her, that care she has for her family, putting them first etc. Karan also needed to see why Sahil loves her (and not only coz she is older, experienced, or a crush or a passing phrase).
Glad Karan told her now he understands what Sahil said about her.
