I used to love this show - started off with so much of promise .. but now I dont know where the track is ? I happened to watch it for a bit two days ago ... I just couldnt figure out what is happening - it was randeep telling rashmi he loves her .. huh ? i mean seriously ? why does he now want to tell her that?

I think you have missed lot of episodes. Should watch now that it is getting interesting again.

As for Why Randeep is telling Rashmi he loves her?

They both have just learnt that Shahana Malik is alive and is out to kill Rashmi and her family.

Randeep, Rashmi, Bhabhi and Mithhu are in hiding in a hotel and Randeep is trying to convince Rashmi that she with her family should go to London to Ritika's for some time. Till Shahana matter is under control. Rashmi does not want to, that is why Randeep is telling her he loves Rahsmi, he lost his sister to terrorists he cannot lose Rashmi too.

The sqeuence you saw was Randeep explaining his love for Rashmi and desperate desire to see her safe and not come to harm from Shahana
