I don't feel cheated at all. If they change too much, people will say it's not like the original 24. They haven't changed much, so people like you say you feel cheated. So they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Either way, I thoroughly am enjoying the show and it really seems a hundred thousand times better than CID with their Koogle search Lol!!

There could've been subtle changes - like - Karwa chauth instead of wife's b'day. India mein b'day miss karne pe koi itna hungama nahi karta.

Ya phir the girl getting kidnapped from a picnic or something instead of running away from home in the middle of night - irls in India don't run away from home to go to discos and the ones who do, unke parents aise worried nahi hote. Thoda to indianize kar lete

agreed, it is a copy of the American show but 90% of the indian population has not watched the American show 24 and it is made with Indian public in mind.

I wish it had more of an indian feel. Right now I feel like they've just translated the dialogues to hindi so that people can understand. But it feels weird.

The characters, direction and all are great. But I feel something is off.

But the way Jay and Trishas relationship is being shown I dont think she has the authority or interest to create drama for KC...

pareshani kya hai??? even if it is a remake what is the harm done...the story is quite amazing and anyways is better than some cheesy indian TV shows...at least trying to do something different...and do you expect our hindi story writers to write such awesome stuffs...then... if you wanna watch watch...if not dont... abb its copied...or not...what changes...the suspense remains the same...and i dont feel that majority has watched the foreign show...so...enjoyy...

Pareshaani yeh hai ki suspense khul chuka hai, agar sub-plots mein thoda variation hota toh phir bhi interesting hota - You don't get scared watching a horror movie second time round do you? Ek baar Sixth Sense ka punchline reveal ho gaya toh baaki kya reh gaya. It is the same way with the Indian version

There is few subtle changes, original 24 is different. We can always wait and may be there will be changes. There is Indian look there.

Anupam Kher plays Richard Walsh, not Mason. Gill is the equivalent of George Mason. And Mason doesn't die this season!

The story, the cast, the setting, the lighting, camerawork - everything was a total rip-off of the original series. So faithful have they been to the original that they did not even bother to change the time-stamp. Don't believe me check it out fr yourself:

🤣 where have u been mate?

Anil has purchased the rights of the show and he has to maintain as much as possible what the english version is.

oh pls, i'm glad they didn't change much of the show. Not many Indians have seen the ori. show, so for them the plot is very much new. I've seen all the 8 seasons and still loving the desi version.
