thanks Neetu welcome back dear. missed you so much. I hope I can fulfill those expectations by providing a college life yet both are sort o seniors of college life simi is nore senior and at the other end yet abhi is junior. confusing isn;t it. but it is a fact.

Episode 3 Abhi savior of the day

Abhi finds clinic. They get down and go inside. Simi feels bit dizzy. Abhi supports her. Doctor checks her out and asks question. Simi says; I only know I was walking and suddenly hit by car and fell down. And I saw abhi when I woke up.

Doc treats her and take some xrays , clean her wounds and bandage her. Abhi waits outside. Doc then prescribe some medicines. Abhi asks for the report. Abhi makes simi wait there and gets her medicines. He pays for doctor's bill and asks Simi to leave. Simi is asking for bill Abhi says: I already took care of it. Let usgo.

In the car Abhi says: we are going to police station. Ms sethi, Is that Ok? Simi says: why should we go to police station? Abhi replies: The person hurt you and left without even bothering to find out if you are Ok? What if you had sustained major life threatening injuries? He/she should have stopped to help you. Such ppl must be taught a lesson.

Simi says: abhi I am not sure. Today is not a good day and I can not think clearly as I have a bad headache. We will do what you say. But look at my clothes. There are blood stains all over. How can we go like this.

Abhi says: Ms sethi can I call you simiji? Well your clothes are a part of proof of the accident. So it is best we go now, If you are not too tired. I know you had a long day.

Simi says" yes you can call me simiji. I am Ok we can go now. But look how much time you had to waste for me. Abhi says: simiji aisa socho bhi mat kum se kum aaj to mujhe aapka saath dene dijiye. Matarani ne aapka haath do baar mere haath me diya hai. Pahele mandir me phir library me. He smiles.

Simi says: ok abhi that is fine. They arrive at Karol baug police station and files complain giving evidences and car license plate number. Police says to simi not to wash those clothes and save as evidence.

As they get out it is already 8 pm/ Manju calls Simi and ask her where she is? Simi tells her I had an accident Ma but I am ok. and coming home in 10 minutes.

Abhi drops simi. Simi forces him to come inside. Simi introduces him to RS and Manju. Mili and Neetu finds him very cute. RS and Mnaju thanks him . manju asks him to have dinner with them. Simi comes out after changing. She ask abhi to let his mom know that he is going to have dinner with them. He can not go without dinner.

Abhi calls his mother and says: mom I will be late. And please don't wait for dinner. I am going to have dinner with a friend. Simi is happy.

Simi says: abhi now give me both bills. Abhi says: later what is the hurry?

Simi says: Give me now otherwise I will not talk to you.. Abhi hands her the bills. Simi pays him back Saying: abhi you have done so much for me today Wasting your whole day. You have to do your homework as well. You also look very tired .

Abhi says: yes it was tiring day . I was more disturbed seeing you hurt and lying there. I was so worried. I thought I met you first thing in the morning and this happened.

Simi says: abhi you are not the cause at all. Looking at Manju angrily. Abhi understands and stops.

They all have dinner. Manju forces abhi to eat so much and mili neetu giggles. Abhi looks at Simi sadly. Simi says: abhi eat or ma will feel bad. Abhi says: eating all these I am already sleepy. RS says: beta don't worry. You don't have to eat any more. Now on this is your house. Whenever you feel like you can come and visit with us.

Abhi smiling says: thanks uncleji. I will definitely have to come to eat the delicious food auntiji makes. Manju hugs him and says: yes any time beta. This is your house. Abhi thanks every one and leaves.

Simi goes after him and says; abhi thank you for everything. May be I will see you tomorrow morning in the temple. I want to go thank Matarani. Abhi says: I do too. That you are all right. I was real worried today. Thank god you are Ok. How is your headache?. Please do take your medicines on time. Simi says: abhi You are my friend and a true friend. Only a friend do this much for a friend. If you ever need help with anything. please do not hesitate. I know you may never need my help. But just in case.

Simi holds his hand.. They shake hands and abhi leaves Simi comes back inside and goes to her room taking her books.

Manju follows her. Simi lies on the bed. Putting her books away closing her eyes as she is still too angry. Manju puts her hand on her head and asks; simi beta are you ok?

Simi sits up angrily taking away her hand and says: No mom I am not ok and please leave me alone. I am very angry and upset.

Manju says:yes I know you are , I can see that but why? Do you want to talk about it.

Simi says: mom please leave me alone and don't make me open my mouth I am just too angry,

Manju is shocked seeing her daughter this way . She sits there saying. Beta tell me why are you angry? Who hurt you? I won't leave from here till I hear it all.

Simi says: mom you asked for it now. Mom you are the one. You are the cause of everything that happened to me today. Including accident. Do you even realize what you say? Every chance you get you put me down. You call me ugly and irresponsible. You bad mouth me. You bring strangers home to parade me in front of them. I was so upset today and whole day angry and unable to concentrate on anything as your words were haunting me and look what happened. Thanks to abhi who found me lying on the road and took care of me and took me to doctor. He even paid the money. Ma imagine your daughter unconscious on the road with strangers around. Are you happy now?

Manju says: sorry beta I did not think my words wil hurt you so much I am sorry.

Simi says: ma your words haunt me whole day. Do you even realize how much you belittle me and hurt me. Ma I am an independent woman who does not need any one to protect me or take care of me I am capable of taking care of me and our family. I am also capable of finding some one for myself So from now on do not even talk about any stranger or bring any one home. I have had enough of insults and humiliation from you your friends and strangers. Ma I am always concern about your feelings and care for you. So I don't say anything. And do what you ask me to because I don't want to hurt you. But you are my mother. You should care for me and my feelings. Your words are like arrows that hits me in my heart. So please stop saying those things about me and my looks and my dressing style. Ma I wll find some one for me and If I can't find I will stay unmarried and take care you and papaji all my life but no more taunting or bringing strangers home. Manju is shocked and crying.

Simi says; see my how much it hurts you. I am sorry I did not mean to hurt you. But now you know why I was angry and upset?

Manju sasys; sorry beta I hurt you so much and I promise I will be careful from now on. I do this because I feel that you should get married. If not it may be too late to find anyone. Besides you are the oldest daughter so till we marry you anuj neetu mili can not marry, you have to think about them also.

Simi says: ma don't worry. If you or they find good partners marry them Don't worry about me. Let me find my own man. Ma I will never ever marry some one who cares for looks and color and age and all those things. I want some one loving caring who only likes me for who I am and knows how I am inside my heart. Till then I will wait. Ma aap apni matarani par bharosa rakho. She hugs crying manju.

Manju says: sorry beta you and I don't agree. But I will try to respect your wishes. But I am your mother. If I see anything wrong I have a right to point it out and you can not stop me.. She asks Simi to go to sleep. kissing her forehead.

Simi closes her eyes thinking about the whole day. She wonders if it was a great a day or horrible day, It was her who was preoccupied and almost hit Abhi's jeep. She is thinking about a burgundy jeep and her prince charming. She is wondering abhi is her prince charming. She hits her head saying: simi how crazy you are he looks way younger. He is just a kid. How can that be. It is too absurd to even think about such thing. You need a real man not some kid. He is really sweet charming attractive and loving. But he is not your man . He can't be . Look elsewhere and don't even think about him that way. People will laugh at you and papaji will have heart attack if you even mention such thing. Simi says: what ever. But I like him . He was my savior. Even though I was hurt in the accident and all. Still I think it was a good day. I met such a wonderful person like Abhi. Who truly showed me what a friend is. He kept on doing me favors after favors. I barely know him for a day and look he has became a important part of my life. No matter what I will never leave his friendship I really need a friend like him in my life/

He is a young man but he acts like he knows everything and he does. He is so mature. He knows how to handle emergencies. Oh my god I am still thinking about him I should sleep now it is getting late. I need to thank him may be I will take him out of cup of tea or something. I don't know why Matarnai put my hand is his like he is my guardian angel. At least he proved today he is my guardian angel. I should not have told mom she ruined my day. I should say sorry to her. She must be sleeping by now. I will say sorry tomorrow.. But I am happy I spoke my mind and told her about the man I want marry.

Simi closes her eyes thinking about burgundy jeep, her prince charming and her dream. She says: matarani please mere prince chraming se mujhe mila do. Kab tak mujhe intejaar karna hoga. Bhale hi woh koi super man na ho, Simi is again shocked why did she say such thing like superman and she remembers abhi and his super man T shirt.

Abhi goes home. He washes up and changes and decides to go sleep. His mom comes in the room She asks: how was your day beta. Abhi says: mom it was very interesting day and he tells her all about Simi and how she came in front of his jeep and how they again met in temple and he liked the innocence and her baby face and wanted to take pictures. Then how they met in the Universiry and now they are working together. Then again he saw her lying on the road and helped her. And then he had dinner with them. Anusha says: beta I am proud of you. you helped some one today. Abhi says: mom can you believe I almost did not attend that class.but then went back. This is all destiny. I am very tired. I will go to sleep. Abhi closes his eyes. Anusha take his head in her lap and gently massages his head. Abhi falls asleep. Anusha leaves room turning off the light.

Simi is dreaming about being in big trouble surrounded by some goons and she screams "help help". She sees a burgundy jeep stops far away and superman coming her way flying with a mask. He beats up goons . but he gets hurt too bleeding she removes his mask and sees his face. It is Abhi. When he removes his cap simi is shocked. It is the same superman shirt. He is comforting her saying; simiji don't worry mai hoon na . Simi shockingly wakes up. Screaming : abhi tum yahan!!!

She finds herself on the bed. Mili neetu comes rushing. Di kya hua?

Simi says: nothing I saw a bad dream/ It must be the accident that has scared me and messed up my brain. Go back to sleep. Both Neetu and mili sits by her. Simi pretends to close her eyes. But she knows a certain sunperman had taken over her brain.

Simi says to herself: abhi ke baare me aisa sochna galat hai. Who umar me bhi chhota hai aur sweet bhi. Dosti tak ki baat thik hai. Shayad woh accident hi tha jisne mera dimag kharab kar diya hai. I need to get some sleep now. Matarani mujhe jaldi se us mila do.Ab intejaar nahi ho raha

Abhi wakes up early in the morning. And makes himself black coffee and sandwich and starts studying. He read the same book simi suggested and make notes. He is also thinking about simi and her child like face and how fair she is. She seems very nice otherwise some profesors are really stuck up. And could not careless about students. Thank god she is not my professor and a friend I really like her as a friend her family too.

I need to help her she is not well. My god what a day yesterday was? and thank God I did not skip that class/ Otherwise I would have never met some one like her. I am so happy she is my friend now and I hate calling her ms sethi as if she is my teacher. I wonder how would the students in her class feeling about her. Yaar meri professor aisi hoti to mai toh pata nahi. Mujhe Crush to jaroor hota.

It will be exciting to work with her and not some one like ms. Saxena. Chalo aaj mandir me milna hai na. Now I must study. He gets his backpack and remembers it was under simi's head. And says: hmmmmmmmmm

Abhi says to himself: control yourself abhi. What are you thinking. Then he says yaar she is attractive what can I say? She looks more attractive inside. I have to get her pictures for sure. I am sure she will not say no to me. Abhi takes out his books and finish his work. It is 7 am . He changes and goes for jogging in the near by park. He feels like talking to simi . but then he thinks oh I forgot to get her number. He comes home and gets ready for college and drives to temple looking for Simi. He waits there for a little while loosing hope and simi shows up. She prays. Abhi waits then he asks her: how are you simiji? Simi says: I am fine abhi thanks for everything. Did you eat already? I got something for you. I made halwa this morning. And brought you some I hope you like it. She hands him dabba. Abhi says: thanks Simiji. I wanted to call you and ask you how are you but I don't have your number. Simi gives him her number.

Abhi says I will drop you to your college. Simi says: no abhi it is far. You just go on. Abhi says: why don't you come with me till University then you can catch ricksaw. Simi agrees. In the jeep. Abhi looks at her and says: simiji aapko meri najar lag gayi. Dekhona kal maine aapko khubsurat kaha aur aap ke chehre par ye nishan.

thanks raksha di this bought back beautiful memories of my school days. Abhi might be developing a crush on simi and simi on abhi I think I had my first crush in school probably 7th or 8th grade on my math teacher. Very young handsome guy and a new teacher to the school. Well i guess i was not the only one😉 all the girls swooned but thanks you bought back a very pleasant memory for me.
