mesimi, ZEE won't publish bad comments for KB or any other show. And I don't blame them. But, we should still try. Thanks Raksha di for making the topic sticky instead of having multiple topics.

They show him saying sarcastically he will be out on roads searching for a job when his wife goes to work. Oh dear, he gave a weak smile too...She changes the topic saying she made his lunch...for what ..????? to make him feel better????
But yeah...they showed him to be feeling better cos he likes what she did for him..packing his lunch and he asks tooo....why are you spoiling me....?
Oh dear had it been me...I would have given him a big hug, and said....dont worry dear...just a passing phase for us...together we will tide over...now cheer up and certainly kissed him and said ALL THE BEST.
But see..this is SIMI. We should not expect anything more.

me to mesimi . I would have the same thing. infact the cvs could have made such a nice scene out of it........ till them it was ok, once she blurted out those words I literally put my hand on my head and thought oh no what nonsense she is saying, ok then i thought after that she might say something sweet to him..... but they just walk of. we did better give her some classes now( free classes )

Dont know what they have in mind. Generally they keep the female characters strong. Like serials like Imtihaan,Kora Kagaz which Renuka Shahane acted, the female lead were strong willed woman fighting society and mainly the problems in society by being or becoming bold.
Of late, they have started this downward trend of sacrificial-beyond compare types of heroines. Kora kagaz was a nice one with the female lead falling in love with her brother in law after her husband runs away to live with his girlfriend on the same night of marriage. And Imtihaan was problem faced by the heroine after she has no support following her dad's death and a younger sister to worry about.
Its a downward trend now. Probably they are patronising the fact that actually females have to be like this, the problem which existed and still is continuing...women being slaves and taking all the taunts of other women. With difficulty in actual life, women are more bold and able to support themselves and are breaking rules of a male-dominated society. Only heroines are like this ok. Rest of all female casts are evil personified.
Probably men and some women dont want this to happen and hence glorify thru their serial about female sacrificing for whomsoever and becoming and behaving like a carpet. Usually crying heroines generate sympathy.
But Pati is Parmeshwar trend is not shown cos none of the females are seen to appreciate their husbands even if they are such darlings. Now its more on women and her maayka related issues only.

MeSimi, I agree with you; the objective is to promote the show. Fine, if they don't want to make public any constructive criticism but even when I called the woman on the phone kept telling me this show is about her girl who is dealing with pressures from her family (even after she had declined marrying RB). Well then show it is about pressures. Simi's pressures are minimal compared to what I have seen in girls. Let us see Simi getting threatened by her father if she fails to marry someone - that would be more interesting to watch.
Serious, Simi has become one of the worst characters ever written during the past three months. In the beginning I felt sympathy for her plight, but after seeing what RS was like towards her, I was like, girl you don't have it hard. Please, get over yourself.
I don't mind if a heroine is show as having low self worth, a lack of confidence, and can't speak up for herself, but when she has a guy in her life like Abhi, then there is no more excuse for all of this behavior. The creatives have really bombed giving us the same old same old.

Wish they listen to us Laila
But do the actors really dont have a say in the script.
Is it really the kinds of..I am a director's artiste.
They should have an open question to the public in India regarding how they would want Simi to be. I am sure at least the younger generation will voice their opinion.
They can alter the storyline accordingly.

Isn't it strange that we have so much to say about the show and its success? And yet nothing is done about it! You would think someone on top would say O the audience feels that we should do more of this or that, then why don't we do it? If I was the head of this serial I know the public opinion would make a big difference to me! I would be scanning most of the forums to find out what the people think of my show. Or atleast hire someone to do it!!!!!! Lailla has sent two e-mail's (that I know of) to the zee network and yet nothing! We do need to get a petition started and have everyone who wants to see change sign it and send it. I would love to take it over there personally!

They mak it sound that Simi is a dominating rol in the show with her dialogue being overpowered !!
I still remeber during the wedding when she is abt to remove the Mehendi and she gives those Suraj wala dialogue and Abhi's chup !! Arre yaar this is the peak of tolerance break the iceberg !!!

Sree,
Dont go by whats written there.
It says Neetu will marry Vicky, Vicky a rolling stone so she has to work to make ends meet.
Thjats not what they have shown.
Read Manju's description. What they show on tv is no where close to her character description.
Abhi discusses everything with her in description on website. No way when both are together only Simi talks about her problems or she cries on his shoulder.
Whats written is not correct

I agree Mesimi......Imtihaan, Kora Kagaz and even the technically bad DD serials showed that women were made of steel and could multi task in all fields and balance everything well........but now when the whole world is moving ahead thks to kerials mostly our serials are getting regressive by the day......totally wrong message is given.......hope good sense prevails and we get to see something good....
