Simi and Abhi - What we want to see

Well, there is one thing that we know for sure. Despite all our differences about the show, we want to see some good chemistry between Simi and Abhi - right ladies and Shanker? (I think he's the only guy on the forum right?). So I thought let's get together and create a thread of all the things we want to see and I will send it to the creatives.

MeSimi wrote a couple of great posts of potential conversational topics for Abhi and Simi and I'd love to have them copied to this thread by her so the creatives will know she contributed them and gets the credit she deserves. Others like Shanti, Ssree, have all done great work. Since the posts are buried under different threads, I thought we'd bring them here along with other ideas.

So what say you guys?

laila, wish we could get some thing nice as u mentioned. if they cant show physically atleast both of them talking sweetly and their likes and dislikes and what ever .both of them pampering each other, abhi falling sick and she taking care or vice versa ( am i asking somrhting too much 😕), both of them helping each other in hte house hold chores and so on.

I definately like to see their romance build up steadily from small small moments. I like abhi to tell how much he loves her and simi to do the same. i know they both know but a constant reminder really helps.

Here is the list of talking that they could do.

my job?

life together?

pregnancy precautions?OCPs?

no of children we plan?

which school to put them in? (u know married couple move to residential localities closest to the best schools in delhi cos enrolling childen to nursery is big time problem. very stringent rules like child should live within 5 kms of where school is. if parents had studied in the same school, child gets bonus points etc. Not a joke. my ex colleague told me this and she settled close to Delhi public school post marriage cos she planned to put her child in that school later on. itni to planning chalti hai.).

Kya karen? in dono ne kya baat ki?kya pata?

Great idea Laila. Thats right a lot of ideas are being buried under different thread. Appreciate the effort.

* For me, I too like the slow-build up atleast now, than a hurried one.😛 I still can't forget that hurried "In love you" confession scene! 😡

* Conversational dialogues yes !!! A Big Yes!!! Very important, other than just staring each other, or camera revolving around them!

* Avoid use of film songs and show conversational dialogues.

* If if they don't hold hands or standing close, thats fine. When they are standing far away from each other doing household chores/Abhi doing some work on his laptop, Simi looking lovingly and Abhi catching that suddenly and winking at Simi!

* Not necessary that they need to show SR scene, but just holding hands or hugging from backk when sleeping. These can be simple and cute scene, with no awkwardness.

* Abhi hugging from back when Simi is doing some cooking or something.

* Abhi trying to remove Simi's braid (I know lot of people are waiting for this one!)

* Every morning a kiss on the forehead for Simi from Abhi after waking up.

* Lying under the open sky, holding hands and looking up at the sky and counting stars!

Ok, I will write more later ...

Now that Simi Abhi are married, I can give the creatives some moments of romantic gestures that they can grace us with. I would like to see them doing all this.

Here is a list of simple romantic gestures according to me. More than hugs and kisses, these simple gestures make you feel special.

1.Help in removing the multitude of hairpins in marriage hairdo

2.A sweet good morning kiss with a smile that says I am happy to wake up with you.

3.Sunday morning coffee by husband.

4.Helping to adjust the pleats during saree wear.

5.Occasional wearing of husband's kurta/Tshirt/Shirt if he is out of town

6.A back massage from your lover/husband/wife after a hard day's work

7.Head massage for headache.

8.I love you/ I miss you/ Had lunch? message during the busy day.

9.Pedicure for each other.

10.Applying nail paint for your wife's beautiful fingers.

11.A protective arm around you in the most crowded streets.

12.Holding hands while crossing road.

13.Simple statements like...Dry your hair properly, you may catch a cold.

You look beautiful/handsome in this new dress/shirt today.

14.Long walks along the beach/park holding hands.

15.Sharing a single large coffee mug, one sip each.

16.Reading the other's thought and providing coffee/eatables without being asked, when husband or wife is busy working late night.

17.Reading good old Mills and Boon novel together

18.Getting wet in the rain

19.Watching romantic movie together at home.

20.Lazily dancing together to old film songs.

21.Playing Antakshari.

22.Taking care of spouse when the other is unwell, handing over medicine on time.

23.Long drives on two wheeler(no 4 wheeler please)

Wish we get to see anything close to this.

* Abhi insisting that he will fill Simi's maang when he watches her do it once(hopefully the 1st morning together) and telling her that from now on, he will fill her maang everyday.

* Abhi gifting Simi a paayal and putting it on her.

* Abhi lying on the bed and working on his laptop and Simi lying in the opposite direction, playing with his legs and tickling under his feet and he jumping up ticklist and running away trying to escape and Simi running behind him.

* They going for a movie and Simi crying watching an emotional scene of a mother and Abhi holding her hands so as to say, "Don't worry, I am there and will be there for you always".
OR
They going for a movie and Simi catching Abhi crying in an emotional scene and after coming back home Simi making fun of Abhi!

Bee and MeSimi - you guys are really immaginative. Bana and others, hope we get more from you guys...Wah, we could get a whole month or more with just Simi and Abhi scenes. And who says the show would be over if these two got married!!!!

One more thing , I do not insist that they dedicate one episode completely to Simbhi and forget for the next 3 episodes, but I would want to show such nice Simbhi scenes in every episode.
