Unfortunately the reason was that she didn't want to see her parents hurt and not because she knew her sister would get her behind kicked in.

When ever i think of it I am surprised how she got such high degrees and she dose'nt know what needs to be done and why its important for one self !!!

What ever wrong simi has done I dont thinks its was right on Manju to slap her 30yr old daughter in front of so many people that too fron of her BIL, Sister SIL, Husband , Would be husband , uncle aunty etc ..... thats not the way a mother should be.

Even when i shout at my son who is 10yrs old in fron of my frients or my relatives my brother nad mother dosent like it and they say ... never shout or hit u r children front of ohter htey will loose teir own value and will always have an inferiority in them.

so I still say what manju has done is wron. I fully wont blame manju. simi was not ready to get married to nakuil. manju gfave kasa, and neetu was also adamant that she get married to nakul.

You should go and read some of my views in My Thoughts thread and a lot others. Ask people who have read my views for a long time now, they will always tell you how defensive I was about Simi. I used to explain why Simi did something whenever there was a Simi bashing post. Because I cared about Simi. As you said, she did not wanted to tell about her molestation to her mom, because her mother was so happy that her elder one is getting married. She didn't catch that her daughter is so sad from inside. When we viewers could feel that about a girl, how can a mother not feel the same about her own child?
Yes, I agree a lot of educated people are inferior. They will have so many degree but do not know how to behave normally or socially. Education alone cannot replace the inferiority complex. But a educated girl can know what is right and what is wrong. Simi is not a girl like Neetu who takes every situation that is against her in a Negative way.
As I wrote, I felt sad for Simi that she could not tell her mom and wanted to go through all these for her brother's sake and there was no Abhi in picture.
That was then. I can leave it. But what now? Abhi was there, he professed his love so many times. He made her see things clearly and moreover she loved Abhi too.
Life's experiences should teach something. Otherwise what is the point of living a human life.
She knew how to degrade and humiliate Abhi but didn't know how to stand up for her love?

I am not applauding Manju's behavior here.

Simi loved Abhi. Abhi loved Simi. They got engaged in front of family, neighbours etc. She commited to Abhi in front of God maatarani. It was not that Abhi had to drag her. Abhi and Simi both took complete 7 pheras as in a real marriage - manasa, vaacha, karmana. That means, each promised to the other by heart, speech and action that only death can part them and they would be truthful to their promise.

After this, do you go back and commit to a next guy without informing anyone. is there no ethics involved? All these while the 1st guy is still fighting for you, making you understand that he is still with you.

Also remember, Simi was not alone, her father, her sister, her lover were all with her to support her. Couldn't this educated girl see what is right and what is wrong? There are people who standup for their love even if they don't have 1 single person to support them. Here she had 3, was that not enough?

Ssree, You don't have be sorry because our views don't match regarding a topic. I am fine with it. I don't take it to heart if you have different opinions. To each his own.

Simi has total memory loss Just one or two nights before she went persoanlly to Anita's room and she said don;t boss around with the girls of 12/24 KB and don;'t shopw ur dadagiri!!! Did'nt that apply to ger also that she kept listening to the talks Anita gives !!!
But I also notivrd after the Dhamki Simi gave Anita she did'nt melodown and she sent goons to attack her own brother Horrible !!!😡

Simi had enough time to think abt it and When nakul was dragging her and she was reluctant she should have told Ek minute Nakul ji Mai yeah rishta naho chathi hoon !! Aap meray Saat Zabardasthi Nahi Kar sakthay !! And then If Abhi came also she had the table turned already and then when nakul's body gaurds started attacking Abhi she could have stopped and proclamied that Mai Abhi say pyaar Karthi hoon and Hamara roka ho chuka tha aur hamney saat phrer Liyathey !!! She shoukld have taken the hold of the situation she she was forced to be taken to the mantap

Just think as if it is a real story (do not bring the CV in it);
If RB was not coming to help, Abhi could have been late in reaching the Mandap. In the mean time Simi could have been done with the marriage; her 2nd marriage; that means she could have 2 husbands.

How she was keeping quite until that late? She should have stopped the marriage much earlier if she was not that dumb. I think she was still thinking Abhi will come and save her. What if Abhi could not come in time (for example Delhi traffic in mind); she could have married already.

They should take that twist and shove it in the dustbin. For me there was NO TWIST!!!
I had no doubts in my mind that Nakul was a bad guy from day 1. Looks like for some of the viewer who thought Nakul would help Abhi as a Bada Bhaiyaa, it was a rude shock and a cold water thrown on their face to wake them up.!!! 😆
