Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan chooses Abhira over Ruhi, Ruhi disheartened

The episode begins with Ruhi hearing a car horn and getting excited, thinking it's Armaan. She rushes downstairs, but it turns out to be a courier for Surekha. Disappointed, Ruhi checks Armaan's messages and worries when he doesn't show up. Armaan receives a call but decides to focus on Ruhi. Ruhi imagines Armaan coming for her, but her hopes are dashed when Armaan mentions not meeting her.

Armaan receives a distress call from Abhira, causing him to leave. Ruhi anxiously hopes for Armaan to come, but she later realizes that he won't be showing up. Meanwhile, Armaan arrives home to find Abhira upset over a photo of Yuvraj. Ruhi accidentally calls the wrong number, and Armaan's absence leads her to believe he won't come.

Later, Suwarna advises Ruhi to understand the connection between Armaan and Abhira, who are married. Abhira expresses her anger and sorrow over Yuvraj's actions, while Ruhi realizes Armaan won't return to her. Armaan seeks help from Madhav to address the situation with Yuvraj.

Manish is concerned about Abhira, while Suwarna urges him to focus on Ruhi, who has moved in with them. Armaan tries to cheer up Abhira with a cupcake, and Ruhi discovers a fraud involving 50 lakhs in Manish's account. Suwarna shocks Ruhi by revealing the fraud was committed for Abhir's sake.
