Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira brings Maira home, but she still longs for Armaan and Geetanjali

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is getting more emotional with each episode. Anshuman puts his wedding with Abhira on hold and promises to marry her only after he finds her missing daughter, Pookie. He begins a global search using DNA tests. Amid this, the family faces another shock when Armaan is suddenly hospitalised. Meanwhile, Anshuman surprises Abhira by saying he has found Pookie. Abhira is overwhelmed when a little girl calls her "mumma," and she feels like her daughter is finally back.

However, her happiness is short-lived when she finds out the girl is not really Pookie, and the whole thing was a fraud. This leaves Abhira heartbroken once again. As the show moves forward, hidden truths are gradually coming to light—starting with the revelation of Charu's death within the family. Now, the storyline is heading toward the major revelation about Maira's real identity.

While we had already reported this earlier, for those who missed it, Anshuman learns the truth and, before Armaan or Kaveri can say anything, he tells Abhira everything at a temple. At first, she refuses to believe him, but later she accepts the truth. Meanwhile, Geetanjali leaves for Mount Abu with Maira.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira and Maira finally come to know that they are actually mother and daughter. After learning the truth, Abhira brings Pookie back to Udaipur, to the Poddar house, taking her away from Mount Abu where she had been staying with Geetanjali and Armaan.

Abhira is overjoyed to have her daughter with her again. Wanting to make the day special, she decides to cook something with her own hands. While preparing the meal, she gets emotional thinking about how she is finally spending time with her daughter after so many years—it feels like their first proper day together as mother and daughter.

Meanwhile, Maira, also known as Pookie, is on a video call with Armaan. She's upset about being away from him and tells him how much she misses him. Armaan explains that he won't be able to come and gently asks her to stay with her mother for now.

Just then, Abhira walks in holding a bowl of food, but pauses when she sees them talking on the call. She quietly watches for a moment and then approaches Maira with a smile, saying she has made her favourite dish, Khichdi. She places the bowl in front of her and then heads inside to get something else.

While Abhira is away, Maira tells Armaan that she actually prefers the same dish when it's made by Geetanjali. Abhira, who hears this from a distance, feels deeply hurt. She is silently thinking that even though she is Pookie's real mother, her daughter still doesn't see her that way.

On the other side, Armaan watches all this and feels guilty. He realises that because of him, Abhira is still being treated like an outsider in her daughter's life. He makes a firm decision that he will do everything he can to help Abhira win her daughter's love back.
