Yasir Shah and Anita Hassanandani in Krazzy Kiya Re..

Lady luck has smiled on Yasir Shah yet again, as his mentor Ekta Kapoor has given him a very important role in her Sony’s upcoming show, Krazzy Kiya Re. “I was all set to pack my bags and go back to Pakistan when Nivedita Basu called me to say that I have bagged a role in Ekta’s project on Sony”, quips Yasir with a smile on his face.

Krazzy Kiya Re, a serial with a college backdrop is reported to have two male leads. While Yasir fits the bill of the first protagonist, the name of the second actor is not yet confirmed, while Anita Hassanandani will be the female lead in the show.

Talking about his role, Yasir states, “My fans will be very happy to see me play the hot and happening cool dude in college. I will be sporting a stylish look in the serial”.

Vikas Gupta, Creative Head, Balaji Telefilms confirms this and says, “Ekta will be working on a college-centered story after a long time, and this will appeal a lot to the youth. This is going to be one of our big projects on Sony. Yasir Shah and Anita will be part of the show. The other couple’s casting is kept under wraps as of now. The shoot of the serial will commence from May 7th.”
