Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt's romance made the headlines for a good one year way back in 2016. The two stepped in Bollywood with the same movie and they even shot their very first scene for any movie with each other. After Student of the Year released, the news came in that the two were dating.

And after that followed a zillions captures of them both from every corner of the world. But the duo parted ways after a year and now Alia is in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. But as the fans think, there is still some steam which is not blowing off between the two exes.

Karan Johar, gave voice to the doubt and asked Sidharth about the situation and his equation with Alia after their break up. Sid and Aditya Roy Kapur graced the Koffee couch this week and Karan didn't waste any time in voicing things out.

Sid replied in a subtle tone,"We haven't met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don't think it's bitter. It's been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history"

Karan pointed out that it's tough to remove the emotional dynamics and work together. To this Sidharth replied,"There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories."
