The tussle of Life Ok and Colors over the ambitious project, 'Chandrakanta' seems to be getting intensified with every passing day.

While the channels still struggle to find the right time to air their respective 'Chandrakantas', now the tussle for the leads of the show has begun too.

Recently, there were reports about actress Hina Khan, who quit 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' being approached for the Colors' show, 'Chandrakanta'.

And entering the race is Life Ok's 'Chandrakanta' which has the probable faces set and ready.

According to a leading news daily, actress Shilpa Anand (now Ohanna Shivanand) aka Riddhima of 'Dill Mill Gayye' fame has been approached to play the lead role in the show.

And it is not only Shipla, but popular actress, Surveen Chawla, is also being considered for the same role.

While Surveen hasn't actively been a part of fiction shows on TV for the past seven years, Shilpa's last show also remains to be 'Dill Mill Gayye' apart from her role in 'Pyaar Ki Ek Kahaani'.

We tried contacting Shilpa and Surveen multiple times, however, they remained unavailable for any comments.
