Will Mika Singh Drag Salman Khan into his recent Controversy?

What will be Salman Khan’s next move?

Salman Khan and Mika Singh

Mika Singh and his band baja pulled-off a dangerous stunt recently, as they performed at the wedding of a billionaire's daughter and former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharaff's relative, and this caused a furore, amidst strained ties between the two countries as India revoked Article 370 of the Constitution.

Singh who performed at the wedding has been banned by Federation of Western India Cine Employees association (FWICE) for plucking the wrong strings. While he awaits the final verdict from the association, the reports in Mid-Day suggest that the federation has said that if any artist works with Mika, then he or she too could get banned. He was reportedly speaking with reference to an upcoming six-city gig in the US where Salman Khan and Mika will perform in.

It seems the 42-year-old singer has his priorities set as he might have his eyes glued to the show - Up, Close and Personal With Salman Khan and Mika Singh which will be held on August 28 2019, at Arena Theatre, Houston. And not to forget Indian artists have been warned by FWICE.

However, it's evident a show or an event is a team effort and many people work hard to make it successful. Meanwhile, Salman Khan being a generous actor, he cares about the efforts that go into making an event successful. But now the only question remains… Will Salman Khan side with Mika to save the show or he will follow the warnings by FWICE?

Meanwhile, Ashok Dubey, general secretary of FWICE talked about the technicalities of the ban. He explained “If we impose a ban, it means all our technicians -- including actors, directors and even spot boys -- will not work with Mika. If someone works with Mika during this ban, say Salman or anyone else, then he to will be banned.”

Commenting on the ban being applied to gigs held outside the country, Dubey said: “Whether it’s an organiser from the US or any other country, we cannot stop anybody from conducting an event. Our policy is simple - we will not work with the person who has been banned.”

The show has been put together by Sohail Khan’s event management company in coordination with one Jordy Patel’s company called JA Events in India and Bhavesh Patel in the US. The report also mentioned Jordy saying, “We are only dealing with Bhavesh Patel as our contract is with him. Some local promoter in the US must have signed on Mika and added him to the line-up. Salman will have nothing to do with Mika at the event. They will not even interact on stage.”

According to the source, the starting price of a single ticket for the show costs a whopping 100 dollars and almost maximum tickets have been sold out. So, the question remains, what will Salman Khan and Sohail Khan do? Will they follow the guidelines set by the FWICE or they will go an extra mile and extentd their support towards Mika Singh by allowing him to be a part of the show.
