Why didn't Salim Khan want Salman Khan to be an actor?

Every father has a distant dream and a vision for his child and same is in the case of well known writer Salim Khan. Salim had dreams for Salman and he didn't want him to be what he is today.

According to a report on daily portal, Salim wished Salman to be a cricketer and not and actor. He was so adamant to see his child as a sportsman that he had even appointed former cricketer Salim Durrani as his coach. Salim was of the view that Salman would have a bright future as a cricketer.

Salman was quoted in the report stating that he had to wake up early morning at 5 AM, for his cricket practise and it was quite difficult for him. In the initial stages of his rehearsals he performed really well and even his coach appreciated him. But the day his father visited him to see his performance he purposely gave a poor performance and that was the time he managed to quit from cricket practise.

Well, we must say whatever happened was really good, else Salman wouldn't be the fame that he is today!
