'We Didn't Eat Lunch on Saturdays so that we could Save Money": Akshay Kumar Reveals How His Family Skipped Food

Akshay Kumar along with other celebrities announced about his upcoming film Laxmi Bomb which will be getting a digital release.

During the press conference that was held digitally today, Alli revealed about the times when his family used to skip their meals so that they could afford a ticket to a film and watch it on the silver screens.

"During my childhood, we did not have lunch on Saturdays so that we can buy tickets and go to movie theaters."

Revealing more about it, he said, "There was a theatre in Sion and my family didn't have much money at that time but we all loved going to theatres. So we used to skip our meal and did not eat anything the whole day so that we could buy movie tickets.

We used to save money and buy the movie ticket, one samosa from Guru Kripa and one mango stick."
