Wamiqa Gabbi joins Varun Dhawan in Atlee's forthcoming Hindi production 'VD18'

Wamiqa Gabbi, the accomplished actress known for her exceptional performances in projects like 'Grahan', 'Mai', and the recent release 'Jubilee', is set to grace the silver screen once again. She has been signed on to play a pivotal role in the highly anticipated upcoming Hindi production by renowned director Atlee, known for his work in 'Jawan'. This project has been generating a buzz in the industry and has been trending on social media under the hashtag 'VD18', hinting at the excitement surrounding it.

Wamiqa Gabbi, who garnered immense popularity with her standout role in 'Jubilee', is all set to be part of 'VD18', sharing the screen with the talented Varun Dhawan. The film is the brainchild of Atlee and Murad Khetani. The script has been penned by Kalees, acclaimed for his work in the critically acclaimed film 'Kee'. The movie is scheduled for release in 2024, promising a cinematic treat for the audience.

Her future projects also include the maiden OTT series 'Charlie Chopra and The Mystery of Solang Valley' by Vishal Bhardwaj and a Netflix film titled 'Khufiya', directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and co-starring Tabu.
