Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor CONFIRMED for Shashank Khaitan's NEXT?

Earlier, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan was rumored to play the spy character for Shashank Khaitan's next. Although, the director had put his ambitions project 'Rannbhoomi' on hold and direct an espionage thriller. Shashank has finally found his ideal-lead cast for the untitled thriller.

The film will feature Varun Dhawan as the male lead. In contrast, the filmmaker has marked Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead for his upcoming project. A closed source revealed, "Shashank and Karan Johar (who is backing the project) wanted a new Jodi for the film. They felt Janhvi would be a perfect fit."   

The actress marked her Bollywood debut this year with the release of 'Dhadak'. However, it would be quite interesting to see the actress in an all-new Avatar. The film is being modeled on an highly-acclaimed film series- Bourne series. The film will rope many international stunt experts to design action sequences.  

A source added, "She will undergo rigorous training and perform some heavy-duty stunts." The film is slated to start shooting next year as the source also added, "Takht goes on floors around August 2019, so Janhvi is likely to shoot for this Varun-starrer in April-May next year."
