Tudum 2022: From Monica, O My Darling to Khufiya; Here's a list of the films and shows announced by Netflix

Tudum 2022

Tudum has returned! In the past few hours, Netflix has released a series of teasers for upcoming Indian content at the Tudum event with Bollywood director Vasan Bala. Tudum '22 took the audience on a series of crazy rides from thrillers to romances, all spread in a single platter.

So let us have a look at the glorious list of films and shows that would be making their way on Netflix very soon. 

Guns and Gulaabs

Guns and Gulaabs, directed by Raj & DK, features Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salman, Gourav Adarsh, and Gulshan Devaiah among its cast. Gun and Gulaabs have not yet had a release date confirmed. Film's official summary reads,  "The charm of the 90s and the misfits that land themselves in a world of crime, still keeping their love and innocence intact. Where will their paths lead them?"

Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale 

The wedding documentary of actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan will be made available on Netflix. Numerous actors from the Indian film industry attended their wedding, which was truly straight from a fairytale.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga

Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal will be featured in the heist thriller film 'Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga'. Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, "Kursi ki peti baandh lijiye because it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

Qala

Triptii Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, Babil Khan, and Amit Sial play the key characters in the film Qala. The story follows the ascent to success of a teenage playback singer during the 1930s and late 1940s.

CAT

Coming soon to Netflix is the online series CAT, which will feature Randeep Hooda in the title character. The protagonist of the show is Gurnam, a former civilian informant who attempts to save his drug-dealing brother.

Soup

Konkona Sensharma and Manoj Bajpayee play the key characters in the movie soup. Abhishek Chaubey is the director of the film.

Kathal

Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Raaz, and Rajpal Yadav portray the lead characters in Kathal. The key emphasis of the film is a police officer looking for a lost "Jackfruit."

Scoop

Scoop, a Hansal Mehta-directed film, has Karishma Tanna as the protagonist.  The narrative is based on Jigan Vora's book, "Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison."

Khufiya

Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ashish Vidyarthi play the key characters in Khufiya. It is based on the spy book "Escape to Nowhere" by Amar Bhushan.

Naidu Rana

The uncle-nephew team of Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, who play the key roles in Rana Naidu, will compete against one another. It is an official version of the Liev Shreiber-led American television series Ray Donovan.

Monica, O My Darling

The film is a neo-noir about the ideal scheme that results in havoc, including lust, blackmail, betrayal, blood, whodunnit, and some robots smashing human heads. This crime drama is directed by Vasan Bala and made by Matchbox Shots. It will feature Radhika Apte, Rajkummar Rao, and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.
