#TRPToppers: 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi' make a COMEBACK; 'Naagin 2' DROPS further

We saw nothing short of a historical past week where 'Naamkarann' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show' made it to the top 10 and 'Naagin 2' was dethroned convincingly.

And this week has a lot more surprises too as we saw a trend being born. 'Naagin 2' dropped even further this week with a miserable loss of viewership. Apart from that, the 'Oberoi Special' episodes which united 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi' has managed to do just what was expected of it and has a rise in the ratings.

So, here we go as I analyze the drop and rise of several shows on the list...

'Shani' has managed to be a consistent performer and the holder of the 10th spot for three consecutive weeks now. While there is a lot happening with other shows, 'Shani' has held its position as it fetches 1.9 points.

It has been a 'kabhi andar kabhi bahar' tale for Colors 'Udaan' as the show enjoys a rise in the ratings at several instances and later witnesses a drop too. This week is a happy time for the show as it witnessed a rise in viewership touching 2.0 points and grabbing the 9th spot.

A bittersweet moment for 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' as the show saw a rise in viewership going on to fetch 2.0 points as compared to 1.8 past week. However, the competition this week was tough and hence 'Taarak...' faces a one spot drop to the 8th spot.

'Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii' recently achieved the benchmark of completing one year of runtime and while the show enjoys that, it also maintained its viewership at 2.1 points; unfortunately having a fall to the 7th spot.

A much-awaited COMEBACK for 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi's' mahasangam - Oberoi Special. While 'Ishqbaaaz' has been facing a drop in the ratings every week, 'Dil Boley...' has been out of contention. This amalgamation and reunion moment was a much-needed push for the show as 'Oberoi Special' has fetched 2.1 points managing to grab the 6th spot.

It's been a rise and rise for 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' as the show has now managed to enter the Top 5 this week. The current Adi (Abhishek Verma) being behind the bars and Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) track has been appreciated by the viewers and has kept them glued to the TV sets. Witnessing a slender rise with 2.2 points, the show will hope to keep rising even more.

The trends in television viewing FINALLY seem to be changing as Colors former TRP topper 'Naagin 2' has dropped even further this week to the 4th spot and this time, there is no salvation about the drop being a minimal one. With 2.4 points the show has witnessed its worst performance since being on-air and it will need a huge boost to regain the top position.

The humongous drop for 'Naagin 2' has meant good news for 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2017' as the show rises to the 3rd position with 2.5 points.

While the up and down scenario has not spared almost everyone, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' has managed to be consistent not only in terms of ratings but also holding the 2nd position. With 2.8 points, the show remains put at the 2nd position.

And the top spot is once again grabbed by 'Kumkum Bhagya' as the show fetches the same amount of viewership as the last week which is 2.9 points. This means a happy week for Zee as the top 3 consists of two Zee TV shows.

While there was a huge moment of shock this week, the ardent 'Ishqbaaaz' and 'Dil Boley Oberoi' fans finally found some respite as the show re-entered the list. It was also a historic week for channel positions as for the first time in a long period, Zee TV toppled Colors to grab the 2nd spot while Star Plus maintained its top spot.
