Triptii Dimri recalls crying for several days post Animal’s release due to THIS reason

Triptii Dimri became an overnight sensation and nation's National crush with her magnificent acting chops in the film Animal. While she embraced the love and admiration that followed her portrayal of Zoya alongside Ranbir Kapoor, the actress also cried for days after reading a few unfavorable reviews from the audience.

In a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel, Triptii Dimri discussed her early life, her struggles as an actress, and how she coped with the criticism following Animal. During the interview, she shared that after the film's release, she cried for 2-3 days because she wasn't accustomed to the negativity directed at her. The Qala actress also mentioned that she never anticipated receiving such backlash after starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the action film. “Roti thi because dimaag khraab hogaya tha ke kya likh rahe hai log (I would cry because I got mad thinking what are people writing),” she said adding that people can sometimes be nasty online.

However, she later talked to her sister, who encouraged her to embrace her journey since she is the only one who truly understands how she has reached her current position. Dimri also admitted that she is quite sensitive. Drawing from her own experiences, the young actress expressed that sometimes it’s important to cry, as it’s the body’s way of signaling the need to release trauma. This is exactly what she did, and afterward, she felt much better.

In that same conversation, she mentioned that prior to her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, she felt calmer and had more freedom. However, after Animal, although there are certainly more opportunities, she has faced a significant amount of criticism, which she believes comes with being a mainstream actress. The Bad Newz actress wrapped up by saying that while she is receiving a lot of love from people around the globe, there wasn’t any criticism directed at her before Animal.
