Triptii Dimri to sizzle as a sexy doctor opposite Prabhas in 'Spirit'; bold & steamy scenes galore

One of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema right now, Spirit, is grabbing headlines yet again and this time, it's about the female lead. After weeks of speculation and drama, it's now confirmed that Animal actress Triptii Dimri will be playing the female lead opposite Prabhas in this much-anticipated Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

According to reports, Triptii is all set to portray a glamorous doctor who finds herself in a passionate romance with Prabhas’ character, a fearless and intense police officer. The romantic angle between the two is expected to be bold, intense, and emotionally charged, a signature style of director Vanga. Reportedly, the filmmaker has designed several steamy sequences and dramatic moments that will challenge the traditional romantic template seen in mainstream cinema.

Triptii, who earned widespread appreciation for her role in Animal, is clearly becoming a favorite for Vanga. A source revealed, “Triptii is Sandeep’s blue-eyed girl. He gave her a breakthrough in Animal, and now she's part of Spirit and Animal Park as well.”

But Spirit hasn't just been in the news for its casting. The film has faced its fair share of controversy ever since Deepika Padukone walked out of the project. While early reports claimed the exit was due to remuneration issues and scheduling conflicts, the director himself took to social media to slam Deepika for allegedly violating a verbal NDA and engaging in “dirty PR games.” In a fiery post on X, Sandeep called out the actress, questioning her professionalism and taking a sharp dig at her interpretation of feminism.

With production expected to kick off in October, Spirit is gearing up to be a pan-India action thriller, releasing in nine languages. The makers are still finalizing the negative leads, following the exit of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor from those roles.

With drama both on and off screen, Spirit continues to be the center of attention and Triptii Dimri’s bold new role is only adding more fuel to the fire.
