Chandigarh, Jan 9 (IANS) Not many would know Vipul Shah by name here. At least not until you mention his hits 'Namastey London' or 'Singh is Kinng'. This Gujarati filmmaker is now back where he loves to be - in Punjab and among Punjabis!

Not only is he shooting near here for 'London Dreams', he is also planning a sequel to his last hit, with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles as Punjabis.

'Punjab is like a second home for me. I will keep coming here. The Gujarati community will soon disown me,' Shah told IANS during a shooting break.

Shah first shot 'Namastey London' near Chandigarh in 2007 and in the following year he was back again to can his last blockbuster 'Singh is Kinng'.

'I love Punjab. There is a lot more to it than just green fields, rich culture and warm people,' he points out at the location of his film's shooting at the Kurali town railway station, 30 km from Chandigarh.

'London Dreams' stars Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin Thottumkal of 'Ghajini' fame. It also has veteran actor Om Puri. The film is about two Punjabi guys who go abroad to make it big as a rock-band.

'I cannot reveal more about the film at this stage,' Shah said.

Incidentally, this film also has an immigration angle to it like Shah's previous two movies. Immigration and NRIs are very much part of Punjab's ground reality.

His Punjab plans don't stop there.

'I am planning to make a sequel to 'Singh is Kinng'. Akshay and Katrina will again be back for that,' said Shah.
