Sushmita Sen opens up about life after heart attack

Bollywood beauty Sushmita Sen shocked her fans when she revealed that she had suffered a heart attack in March this year. The news came after she underwent an angioplasty, leaving her concerned followers in disbelief. It was later disclosed that the incident occurred when she arrived in Jaipur to shoot for "Aarya 3." Known for her dedication to fitness, Sushmita Sen has opened up about the impact of the heart attack on her life.

In a recent interview with News18, Sushmita Sen shared how the experience has changed her perspective and made her more cautious. The actress stated, "It was a phase, and it passed. I am very lucky to be on the other side. It doesn't make me fearful now; instead, I now have a feeling of promise, of something to look forward to. When you get a new lease on life, you respect it and are more careful." 

Addressing her fans in a live session on Instagram, she provided a health update, assuring them that her health is fabulous by God's grace and that she has been taking care of herself.

Sushmita Sen's heart attack had been a severe one, with a 95 percent blockage in the main artery, requiring immediate angioplasty at a hospital. 

The resilient actress revealed that she has already completed shooting for "Aarya 3," in which she reprises her role as Aarya Shareen. Besides "Aarya," Sushmita will be seen portraying a transgender activist in the series "Taali." The first look of Sushmita as Gauri Sawant, her character in the series, along with the teaser, has already been released, generating considerable anticipation among her fans.
