Nitanshi Goel, the star of "Laapataa Ladies," made a lasting impression during her recent catwalk at a fashion show in Mumbai on Thursday evening. The young actress, who captured hearts with her portrayal of Phool in Kiran Rao's critically acclaimed film, not only shone on the runway but also displayed deep respect for her elders in the audience.
In a touching moment that's now spreading like wildfire online, Nitanshi stopped her walk to acknowledge veteran actress and politician Hema Malini, who was seated in the front row. Dressed in a striking red saree, Hema Malini was visibly moved as Nitanshi bowed to touch her feet as a gesture of respect. The Dream Girl responded with a warm smile, placing her hand on her chest in appreciation of the young actress's humility.

The two shared a warm embrace and exchanged a few cheerful words. Sushmita, known for her grace and kindness, seemed delighted by Nitanshi's gesture and was seen clapping enthusiastically as Nitanshi continued her walk.
Dressed in a stylish silver top paired with pinstriped pants and a black overcoat draped over her shoulders, Nitanshi exuded confidence and grace as she strutted down the ramp.
Nitanshi Goel rose to prominence earlier this year with "Laapataa Ladies," which premiered in theaters in March 2024. The Kiran Rao-directed film also starred Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan, and Chhaya Kadam. Produced by Kindling Pictures, Aamir Khan Productions, and Jio Studios, the film was based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami and conveyed a powerful message about women's empowerment.
Notably, "Laapataa Ladies" was India's official entry to the Oscars 2025. While it didn't make the final cut, the film's impact continues to grow, thanks to the performances of its talented cast—especially Nitanshi, who is quickly becoming a rising star.
Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the 2023 drama series "Taali: Bajaungi Nahi, Bajwaungi."
