Sushant Singh Rajput's Pet Dog Fudge is Not Dead; Close Source Clarifies

All hell broke loose after Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, hanged himself at his Bandra house in Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor was battling with depression for the last six months and was taking anti-depressant pills as well. 

It’s been more than a week to the unfortunate and untimely demise of the talented actor, and his friends, family and fans are devastated over the loss. The entire industry and his colleagues are heartbroken over Sushant’s shocking demise and have been pouring in their heartfelt wishes.

Sushant’s death has affected his pet dog Fudge, who seems to be mourning the actor’s loss. Several pictures and videos have surfaced on the Internet featuring the Black Labrador looking sad and heartbroken over his master’s absence around him. Many throwback videos of Fudge and Sushant have also gone viral, that will surely melt your heart.

Recently, rumours made rounds on the Internet that Sushant’s pet dog Fudge passed away and is no more after grieving the actor’s loss. Various reports stated that the dog stopped eating and therefore died. A post read, "He may have realized that he has been searching for the owner for so long that his owner will never come to him again. Couldn’t stand this pain. He stopped eating! FUDGE suffered the most in Sushant’s death. #RIP #fudge Loudly crying faceLoudly crying face #sushantsinghrajpoot." 

But here’s a fact check, the dog is very much alive and doing fine. A Times of India report got in touch with Sushant’s close source, who confirmed that Fudge along with the actor’s other three pets are currently staying at his residence in Pavna and are doing fine.

Well, that puts the rumours to rest.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is investigating the matter in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. While the autopsy report has said that it is a case of suicide, the Police are also probing professional rivalry as alleged, in connection to the case. Sushant’s close friend and Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and manager Rohini Iyer have recorded their statements so far.
