Sunjay Kapur's close friend Suhel Seth blasts media for referring to him as Karisma Kapoor's ex husband

On June 12, Indian automobile tycoon Sunjay Kapur passed away in London. He was playing a polo match when he suffered a cardiac arrest. It seems he had swallowed a bee accidentally and it got stuck in his wind pipe. Everyone is shocked at how it happened. It is hard to believe as he had posted his condolences on the Ahmedabad Plane Crash four before. Well, he was married to Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor from 2003 to 2016. They had separated by end of 2013. The media and channels have been referring to him as the ex-husband of the actress.

Marketing Guru and media personality Suhel Seth who was his close friend has slammed Indian news channels. He said that when Sunjay Kapur died he was married to Priya Sachdev, with a son Azarius. Seth said this is disrespectful to his current wife and family. He also said that this is a sad and idiotic state of affairs.

The billionaire was the chairman of Sona Comstar. They are the leaders in manufacturing of parts for automobiles. Sunjay Kapur had studied in The Doon School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard School Of Business. His passion for polo was known in Delhi circles. It seems it will take some formalities to bring his body to Delhi as he had a US citizenship. Sunjay Kapur was known as a doting dad to his three kids, Sameira, Kiaan and Azarius. The demise along with the tragic plane crash has made people wonder on how bizarre 2025 has turned out to be. We extend our condolences to his family.
