Sunjay Kapur secured future of children Sameira and Kiaan in this big way after divorce

Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor’s marriage grabbed headlines for all sorts of reasons. The automobile tycoon passed away yesterday after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was playing polo in London when this happened. Sunjay Kapur the chairman of Sona Comstar is worth Rs 10,000 crores as per reports. They are manufacturers of car parts in India, having a huge export business. Karisma and he married in 2003 and separated in 2016. Their marriage had its share of ups and downs. Sameira their daughter was born in 2006 while Kiaan was born in the year 2011. The couple parted ways but he ensured a solid future for the kids.

As per ANI, he gave Karisma Kapoor one of his father’s properties in Khar as alimony. He also bought bonds worth Rs 14 crores for Sameira and Kiaan. They generate a monthly interest of Rs 10 lakh, which was used by Karisma for their education and other expenses. It is said that Sameira his daughter is a very good student. Sunjay Kapur studied in prestigious institutions like The Doon School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School. The kids have also studied from Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai.

Sunjay Kapur also has a son, Azarius from his second wife, Priya Sachdev. Sona Comstar is founded by his father, and is located in Gurgaon. Karisma and Sunjay’s wedding had got a lot of media attention when it happened. While it did not last for a lifetime, the two did manage to reconcile well for the stability of the kids. Sameira and Kiaan would spend holidays with him in Delhi. He had come down to Mumbai for her 18th birthday in 2023. Visuals of them exiting together the birthday venue went viral.
