According to her statement, online chatter and Reddit threads created a false narrative, leading many to assume she had a role in the couple’s reported problems.

Nandika wrote that watching accusations spread without proof had been emotionally exhausting. She stressed that the claims about her disrupting someone’s relationship were untrue and expressed concern over the impact the rumours have had on her mental well-being. She also revealed facing threats, which pushed her to temporarily switch her Instagram account to private.

Alongside Nandika, choreographer Gulnaaz Khan has also denied any involvement. Her clarification came shortly after speculation linked her name to the cheating rumours. Both statements have been widely shared by fans, urging people to stop making assumptions and wait for verified information.

Wedding Postponed Due to Sudden Medical Emergency

The rumour storm began after reports confirmed that Smriti and Palash postponed their wedding due to a medical emergency. Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, reportedly faced heart-related symptoms and was taken to a hospital in Sangli. Soon after, Palash was also admitted, with family members stating he was deeply affected by the situation and emotionally close to Smriti’s father.

A family member later clarified that the wedding wasn’t cancelled but postponed until both recovered and regained stability.
