Sonu Sood tests Covid positive, quarantined; Says ‘always there for you all’

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who emerged as a messiah for hundreds during the lockdown, has unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19.

Sonu took to social media to share the same with his followers and while he has already quarantined himself, he stated that he will use this time to help the needy. He wrote in his post:

"Covid - positive. Mood & spirit - super positive. Hi everyone, this is to inform you that i have tested positive this morning for Covid -19 as a part of precautions I have already quarantined my self & taking utmost care , but don't worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems remember i'm always there for you all.”

During the lockdown, Sonu Sood helped hundreds of migrant workers to travel back to their homes safely by arranging travel facilities for them. He had also mortgaged his properties in Mumbai, including two shops and six flats, to raise Rs 10 crore to help the underprivileged, migrant workers and patients who suffer from serious diseases.

Recently, Sonu launched `Sanjeevani - A Shot of Life`, a free vaccination drive initiative to encourage people to get vaccinated and raise awareness in the country.
