Sonu Sood’s wife Sonali Sood Recovers After Road Accident, Discharged From Hospital; Check Latest Update

Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali Sood, meet with a serious car accident on the road between Mumbai and Nagpur on March 24, 2025. She was on a trip with her sibling and their child when their car collided with something. She was traveling with her sister, Sunita, and nephew, Siddharth, when the accident occurred. All three sustained multiple bruises. Sonali has now been discharged from the Nagpur hospital.

The doctors had placed them all under close observation. The hospital had earlier issued a statement saying, "Mrs Sonali Sood, her sister and nephew were brought to the Emergency Department of Max Hospital, Nagpur at approximately 10:30 PM last night [on Monday]. They had allegedly been in a road traffic accident. All three patients were conscious upon arrival and had stable vital signs. They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found. Her nephew was discharged after first aid. Mrs Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well. Their condition is stable."

The accident took place around 10 pm on Monday while Sonali, her sister, and nephew were on their way from Nagpur airport to Byramji Town. The car, driven by Siddharth, crashed into a truck on the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon. The collision occurred when a vehicle ahead overtook a slow-moving truck, and Siddharth, following closely, accidentally rear-ended it.

Thankfully, the airbags deployed in time, preventing any serious injuries. Sonali had just arrived in Nagpur from Kolkata and was picked up by her relatives, Sunita and Siddharth. The Sonegaon Police noted the incident based on the MLC (Medico-Legal Case) details, but no case was registered as no formal complaint was filed.

Sonu Sood and Sonali tied the knot in 1996. Originally from Andhra Pradesh, Sonali holds an MBA from Nagpur University and is a well-known film producer. The couple has two sons, Ayaan and Ishant. Despite Sonu's fame, he and Sonali prefer to keep their personal lives away from the spotlight.
