Sonam Kapoor SLAMS this leading daily for FALSE news about Kareena

Actress Sonam Kapoor who will be sharing screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan in upcoming "Veerey di Wedding" says the news that the latter has opted out from the film is untrue and just gossip.

Criticizing the daily which published the news, Sonam said, "Nobody from DNA has contacted us nor they are picking up the phone for clarification. Honestly, this is just malicious gossip. We are about to start shooting of certain portions of the film. However, most of the film will be shot in April post-delivery. It's completely untrue and irresponsible way of writing news. I didn't expect this from a publication like DNA, honestly."

On Monday, it was reported that Kareena, who is expecting her first child with husband Saif Ali Khan in December, has opted out of the movie due to her pregnancy, by the publication.

"Veere Di Wedding" is directed by Shashanka Ghosh of "Khoobsurat" fame and also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

The film is jointly produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
