SIIMA International Awards: Jr. NTR's emotional thanks to co-Star Ram Charan wins heart

The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2023 witnessed a grand celebration of talent and cinema, and at the heart of it all was SS Rajamouli's magnum opus, "RRR."

Jr NTR,  portrayed the fearless tribal leader Bheem in the epic, took center stage as he walked the red carpet ahead of the award ceremony. He clinched the prestigious Best Actor in a Leading Role (Telugu) award, adding another feather to his cap of remarkable performances.

During his heartfelt acceptance speech, Jr NTR graciously acknowledged his RRR co-star and close friend, Ram Charan. With genuine warmth in his voice, he expressed, 

"I would love to thank my co-star, my brother, my friend Charan for standing beside me as a pillar of support for RRR. Last but not least, I would love to thank all my fans. I bow down to my fans who have always been with me through my ups and downs. You have been my pillar of support at all times. You people shed a tear along with me whenever I was in pain and smiled in unison with me when I am happy.”

Jr NTR's sartorial elegance added to the evening's charm as he donned a sleek black suit, exuding charisma and sophistication.

For the unversed, MM Keeravani and Chandrabose had already received an Oscar for the enchanting "Naatu Naatu." The duo also clinched the Best Original Song award at the Golden Globe Awards for the electrifying dance number.

As we celebrate "RRR's" remarkable achievements at SIIMA 2023, it's worth keeping an eye on the future projects of its stellar cast. Jr NTR is currently immersed in the filming of Koratala Siva's "Devara," set to grace the screens on April 5 next year, alongside the talented Janhvi Kapoor. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is cherishing precious moments with his daughter, Klin Kaara, born in June.
