Shweta Bachchan shares priceless throwback image of Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan on their 'Golden' anniversary

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is an avid social media user, and his blogs are one such example of the same. Big B took a moment to express his gratitude to his fans and acknowledge his upcoming 50th wedding anniversary with his wife, Jaya Bachchan. The veteran actor wished his fans on their birthdays and then briefly mentioned the milestone occasion, which falls today on June 3.

He wrote, "June 3 dawns in a few .. and the years be counted as 50 .. love respect and gratitude for the wishes , that have come and perhaps shall come ..🙏"

Shortly after midnight, their daughter, Shweta Bachchan, shared a nostalgic black-and-white photograph of her parents on social media. She captioned the post with "Happy 50th, parents- now you're "Golden" once on being asked what the secret to a long marriage is, my mother answered-love, and I think my father was- the wife is always right. Thats the long & short of it !!"

As soon as the post went online B-townies started pouring in their love for the veteran duo in the comment section.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is currently occupied with the shooting of Ribhu Dasgupta's courtroom drama titled 'Section 84'. Additionally, he has Nag Ashwin's upcoming project, 'Project K', in the pipeline, where he will star alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas.

 On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan will soon be seen in Karan Johar's directorial venture, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', featuring a star-studded cast including Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh.
