A resurfaced clip from Karan Johar's talk show, "Koffee With Karan," featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan, has recently gained attention. The show, known for its humorous celebrity confessions and Bollywood gossip, often produces viral moments that entertain fans. In the clip, Abhishek Bachchan responds to the question of whether he is more intimidated by his mother, Jaya Bachchan, or his wife, Aishwarya Rai.
In a clip from "Koffee With Karan," Karan Johar posed the question to Abhishek Bachchan: "Who are you more scared of, your wife or your mother?" Abhishek's response was, "My mother." However, his sister, Shweta Bachchan, interjected with "Wife." The actor then humorously retorted, "It’s my rapid fire, be quiet." This amusing exchange has quickly spread across social media platforms.
Returning to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her 22nd appearance at the event. As a global ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, she represented India, wearing an ivory sari paired with traditional jewelry and visible sindoor, a look that celebrated Indian culture. Her sindoor also seemed to pay tribute to the Indian Army, following the Operation Sindoor, which rekindled patriotic sentiments in the South Asian region on May 7th.
She greeted photographers with a namaste, smiled warmly, and waved to the crowd, even blowing kisses to her fans. The sari included a long lace pallu and a dramatic train. Her appearance at the premiere of "The History of Sound" generated significant buzz at the event and across social media, with photos and videos quickly going viral.
On the professional front, Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II, where she reprised her role as Nandini. She has yet to announce her next project.
Abhishek Bachchan recently shared exciting news about his upcoming project, "Raja Shivaji," directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The initial look and release date were revealed on May 21.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's wedding took place on April 20, 2007. They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai. The couple's daughter, Aaradhya, was born in 2011.
