Shraddha Kapoor to play 'Half-Girlfriend'!

Putting to halt all the speculations, a leading daily confirmed that Shraddha Kapoor will be the female lead for 'Half Girlfriend'. Names of starlets like Parineeti Chopra and Kriti Sanon were assumed to be in the consideration to play the character. But, according to reports, the petite ABCD 2 actress has bagged the role.

The film is based on Chetan Bhagat's coming-of-age novel of the same name. There are three interesting aspects about this project. 1: This is Shraddha's third film with Mohit who has already directed Shraddha in Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. 2: This is her second movie that is adapted from a book, the earlier one being 'Haider'. 3: And this is the first time she will play an affluent Delhi-based girl.

Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Half Girlfriend' will bring back the cute couple Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur back on the big screen!
