Shraddha Kapoor planning a big film with Chhaava director Laxman Uttekar?

Shraddha Kapoor was seen two days back outside the Maddock office. This made fans wonder if there is some new development on Stree 3. It seems Shraddha Kapoor and Dinesh Vijan had a long discussion on a new film. Joining them was the maker of Chhaava, Laxman Uttekar. It seems the two discussed a script, which Shraddha Kapoor loved and agreed on. This will be Laxman Uttekar’s next movie after the blockbuster Chhaava. He has delivered the biggest success of 2025 with the Vicky Kaushal movie. It seems it is based on a Marathi novel and has Shraddha Kapoor playing a Maharashtrian on screen. She is half-Maharashtrian and fluent in the language.

All other details are kept under wraps for now. There is a possibility of an A-List male lead also to come onboard the film.

Dinesh Vijan wants to lead the way when it comes to innovative story-telling in Bollywood. The script is also a hatke one. The two pitched the story to the Stree 2 actress as it is deep-rooted in Maharashtrian culture.

Laxman Uttekar and Dinesh Vijan are also planning a multi-starrer with three big Bollywood heroes. This movie will go on floors in 2026 or 2027. Maddock Films has given two Rs 500 crore plus movies in 2024 and 2025 respectively. The production house has earned respect from all quarters. The pioneers of horror-comedy in India, this year they will roll out Thama that stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. It is coming in Diwali 2025.
