Aashiqui 2 duo Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor to reunite for another epic love story?

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are one of the post 2010 jodis that managed to seal their place in cinematic history with Aashiqui 2. It has been a decade but people are still not over the magical chemistry of Rahul and Aarohi, two passionate lovers who faced tumult due to addiction. They were also sublime in Ok Jaanu, which however failed to do great business at the box office. In fact, some months back a video of them standing in the rain under an umbrella outside an event got unprecedented love on social media. The good news is that we might see Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in a new movie soon.

As per Pinkvilla, filmmaker Mohit Suri has approached them for another passionate love story. The director has discussed his basic idea with the two actors. Now, he will move onto developing a proper script for them. A source told Pinkvilla, “It’s in the nascent stage, and there will be a clarity on reunion by the end of this year.” Shraddha Kapoor has been in the news for upcoming projects like Krrish 4 and Stree 3. There is a strong buzz that she might team up with Hrithik Roshan for the first time ever in his directorial.

In 2024, she headlined the biggest blockbuster for Bollywood in Stree 2. The producers and director Amar Kaushik are writing the film for the third instalment. Shraddha Kapoor recently said at an event, “When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited because I know it’s going to be something amazing. I can’t wait to hear what it’s about.”
