Shilpa never discussed her problems with us - Saumya Tandon

Saumya Tandon, who plays the role of Anita in & TV's Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, retweeted producer Benaifer Kohli's interview with a leading newspaper on the whole matter. So, we buzzed the pretty actress to know her point of view on the whole issue.

Says Saumya,"All actors sign a contract when they are hired and they have to abide by it. You just cannot randomly stop coming for the shoot. A show is made up of many artists and all of them are held ransom if the shoot stops abruptly. It is a show which is loved dearly by people and if such issues come up, it affects one and all. Basically, my point of view is that these issues should be sorted properly at the table and one should maintain a certain decorum. If one wants to leave the show, there is always a proper procedure to do so. I don't think one should stop coming for their shoots at once."

In an interview Shilpa Shinde stated that her co-stars never took a stand for her. Saumya clarifies, "She never discussed her problems with us. Atleast she never told me anything personally. About the whole tailor thing, see, these are small production problems that every unit faces. If she was so unhappy and wanted to leave the show, she should have followed a proper procedure. The producer has to find a proper replacement and plan further for the show and such things take time."

We quizzed the actress about Shilpa's insecurity comment the actress refused to comment upon it. "It is a very petty allegation. It would be below my dignity to comment on this matter, so I do not want to say anything about it."
