When Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had hit a rough patch in their friendship, here's what had happened...

At the screen awards, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan won everyone's heart by recreating their old friendship days on the stage. They performed on their blockbuster hit song 'Yeh bandhan toh...' from their film 'Karan Arjun'.

During the media interaction, SRK and Salman were asked about their friendship now and about the time when they had hit a rough patch.

Talking about their friendship, Shah Rukh said: "This is the way we are in our normal life also. It is nice our friendship has extended."

Talking about their past rivalry, Salman said: "It happens with everyone. But whatever happened to us, too much noise was made out of it."

Shah Rukh added to it and said, while he and Salman had differences, people tried to add fuel to the fire by giving them gossip about each other. Some people even tried to take advantage of their rivalry. However, neither he nor Salman gave a ear to such people.

On the film front, SRK will next be seen in "Raees" while Salman will star in "Tubelight".
