Sanjay Dutt released from Jail

Sanjay Dutt who was serving his jail term in Pune's Yerwada jail has finally been released this morning. The actor was imprisoned in an arms case related to the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

The first thing he did after walking out of the gate is turned back and touched the ground and saluted the National flag. Then took his bag and walked towards the car.

Here's what he said, "It is because of the support of my family and fans that I am out of the jail now."

Adding to it he said, "There is no easy walk to freedom my friends."

Director Rajkumar Hirani, who has always been there by Sanjay's side had gone to receive the actor at Pune.

Hirani while interacting with the media said, "My association with Sanjay has been very old and will always be there."

Sanjay Dutt is now flying back to Mumbai by a special Charter plane that was arranged to avoid traffic and media persons.

After reaching Mumbai he will first visit Siddhivinayak Temple and then go to offer prayers at is mother's grave.
