Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani planning PK2? Superstar to roll out 10 films in next few years

Aamir Khan has been busy promoting his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par that is directed by RS Prasanna. After the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, he had been considering a long break from acting. However, his fans would be glad to know that actor Aamir Khan is reportedly hungry for good scripts. The superstar is creatively charged as ever and looking at 10 different stories. Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani will be working next in the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic. He will soon start shoot on the same. Before he signed on the project, he had been seeing at least 10 scripts from different production houses and directors.

It seems Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani had long dreamt of making a movie on Dadasaheb Phalke. The work on the script was on since years.

While Raju was working on Dadasaheb Phalke, Aamir was simultaneously creatively involved to develop multiple scripts – ranging from two Rajkumar Santoshi films: Char Din Ki Zindagi and Andaz Apna Apna 2, to Ujjwal Nikam biopic with Dinesh Vijan, the Anurag Basu directed Kishore Kumar, and a film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra among others.

In fact, his fans had been reading about his stepping into the role of Gulshan Kumar for Mogul. As per Pinkvilla, he had a discussion on that film too with Bhushan Kumar and Tushar Hiranandani. A source said the actor is a creative person and loves to work on stories that appeal to him. Aamir Khan did numerous meetings with people. All the movies that he discussed could happen in the future. As of now, his focus is on the biopic.

This is not all. Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi have thought of a great plot for PK 2. Ranbir Kapoor is also being considered as new entrant to the franchise. The source said, “It’s a plot that organically leads itself to a sequel, with Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, but the boat is far away from sailing. Ranbir too is aware of the idea and is excited to play an alien.”
