Sanjana Sanghi gushes over Aditya Roy Kapur while talking about filming Om: The Battle Within

Sanjana Sanghi's collaboration with Aditya Roy Kapur for the action flick Om: The Battle Within has piqued the interest of fans who are eager to watch them bring their chemistry to the big screens. We've seen Aditya in action films before, but this will be Sanjana's debut, and the actress is quite thrilled for the viewers to watch her in this role. 

Sanjana discussed her foray into this new genre in a recent conversation with ETimes.

Sanjana gushed over Aditya Roy Kapur, her Om: The Battle Within co-star. The starlet remarked that she feels very safe around him and that they are both able to speak anything that is on their minds about the sequences or roles, which enables them to better their acting. Sanjana went on to say that even if Aditya is criticising her performance, she knows it comes from a good place, and that is why she believes Aditya is unrivalled in many respects.

Sanjana Sanghi noted that Om: The Battle Within is her first foray into the action genre, and she is really interested to see how the audience reacts to it. After her last film, Dil Bechara, Sanjana stated this is a step into a new genre for her. The performer said she never imagined she'd be able to achieve anything like this so young in her career, but she's unearthed a whole new side of herself as an actor and can't wait to show it off.

The filming of the movie, which began in December 2020, was suspended because of the outbreak of COVID 19 in the country. However, filming resumed last year, and Aditya recently took to Instagram to present a brand new poster for the film, along with the announcement that it will be released on July 1, 2022.
